Skywarp was made from a 1/100 VF-1S Macross Valkyrie figure as a sort of homage to the original generation one Jetfire mold. He was cleaned, stripped, and base coated with Kleanstrip Bulldog adhesion promoter and Rustoleum high heat flat black. Details were added with various Kustom Kolors paints. A custom head was cast from a universe Starscream and 1/100 Kotobukiya MSG hands were added to complete the look.

This figure will be auctioned off along with other customs from members of Procustomizers.com for Charity Auction #2. All of the proceeds will go to Autism Society of America. This auction's theme is the Decepticons.

This is so cool. To those that don't know, you can find this mold as a knock off. I've seen it in discount stores and down the Jersey shore. Skywarp looks bad ass :thumb  :thumb

Nice work, should get some decent coin right there. I forgot all about the Bulldog products, used to use it to paint golf car tops when I had my shop. That stuff got expensive didnt it?

Skywarp is one of my favorite characters, and that is badass. I would so buy one of those. Also that's awesome that it's for charity.

Yeah, I think I tried lookin for it a couple years ago, couldnt find a dealer here in Cali that carried it individually, had to by the kit for $300+. Gettin harder to find the good stuff here, lacquers too. They're trying to ban Tamiya spray paints, can you believe that shit?

Ban Tamiya? In California? Only in California...... everything seems to "cause cancer" to them.
