I'll transform him with his door wings folded down flat. That might help.

that's a good point, he's got different ways to fold his kibble that could help differentiate him from the other molds... maybe his feet could be changed too... it wouldn't be more accurate, but it might look cool...

    Eh...

Not for me. Not really a fan of G2.

But it does have more "flair" than the movie stuff.

I'm not feeling the new name. I prefer Streetwise. It just sounds better IMO.

I was looking at the pictures again and thinking how much better he would look if his feet were actually pulled down. I never found that a difficult thing to figure out with this mold and it makes the legs look so much better.

I was also looking at pictures of the original G2 Streetwise. It's kind of funny that people are complaining so much because it looks like Silverstreak (which it certainly does) but at the same time the paint apps are dead on for what the original figure looked like. The part that's amusing is that if they made the paint apps different to make it look more unique everyone would be complaining that it wasn't accurate.

It might not be my favorite figure in the set but it's still way better than anything from the box set last year. If this is the worst figure in the set then I'd have to say we have a pretty amazing set on our hands.

Shoulda just gone all out and called him "Protectobot Streetblast" so the Botcon G2 toy with the least tasteless color scheme gets the most tasteless name to balance out. ;)

I like it, but would have rather had a character with a more over the top color scheme.

Well, it's still better than anything we got last year's in Kup's Delusion set.

    ^ YES

Eh. In ~my opinion~, Flak is a lot "better" than Streetstarwiseblast here. And even though Landshark isn't very popular and Thunderclash is just plain disappointing, I like them better than this too. And if we go outside the boxset itself, Banzai-tron and the Skyraiders are waaay better.

But, despite the harshness I keep doling out on Streetypoo, I would like to take this time to remind everyone that I am a FunPub fan and I want to have Spark and Breakdown's manbabies.

Streetstar isn't the best of names but at least it's better than I gave to the inferno repint, Mr. Skittles.

Scourge was in the box set, and pretty damn popular.

And Flak, most people agree is a very nice looking toy. Just not a lot of "pull" for it to exist.

Actually the more I look at Flak the more disinterested in it I am. Scourge is steadily going up in my opinion, Landshark based purely on the toy is just dull beyond belief, Kups just wrong and oddly if I pretend it isn't Thunder Clash, Thunder Clash is growing on me.

This years set makes me much happier.

That we 100% agree on :)

Last year's addons were good (although I hated Razorclaw and Elita-One, I know a lot of people liked one or both of those, but the ones that went with the theme were good). I hope this year's addons are as good/better.

Flak's problem is Universe Overload looks more Flak like than he does.

I think Landshark is Pretty, however I kind of wish he was more similar to Cybertron Landmine, or Pre-Earth Rhinox or even if he was based on part of 6-builder like Grindcore is. Instead of looking like Roadbuster.
As a toy he's Ok but perhaps that mold might have been nice used for a Shattered glass villan.
I also might have liked it in Red for example.

Yeah, apparently they had BotCon Flak planned, then came Universe Overload. Whoops. So they changed it up.

I think most people agree it's a nice deco though, is what I was saying. Just not a lot of "desire" for it or anything.

Landshark was just a bad idea in so many ways, IMO.

First, it's a huge mold, centerpiece of the boxset....on a new character. Big molds should almost always be something the fandom wants (typically an homage or existing character of some sort).

Next, they had Thunderclash in the boxset, who would've made a much better use of that mold. Instead, Thunderclash got a squished emblem deco, on just a deluxe.

Third, the deco that Landshark did get...looks like a ninja turtle =P

I dunno, I just felt the whole thing was A Bad Idea.

That is true, still can't blame people for hoping.

    Agreed!

    Agreed also.
