    You know what, who am I kidding, that's probably a good thing. He wouldn't have wanted to be in this one if he's seen it.

    No, I'm happy for him. I wish I could unsee it.

    John is smart. He saw the good movie, and hopefully he'll see the next good one. (I do hope movie 3 is amazing)

    There's actually no real need to see movie 2 - the story didn't change. Autobots won and Decepticons lost. Prime and Sam saved the day - just like movie 1. Megatron and decepticons got their asses kicked. The only plot development that changed anything in movie 2 was that Sam said I love you to Megan Fox. Which was so surprising. Shoot me.

    Too bad Michael Bay never saw Empire Strikes Back. Because if the badguys won in movie 2, then he would have made a sequel that Malcovich couldn't miss.

    My favorite Malkovich role was from In the Line of Fire, where he plays an assassin who wants to kill the president. Great actor and I hope he brings a lot to this movie. Lets just hope the writing for his character is a million times better than for Turturro's character.

    Indeed. I've watched the first movie multiple times, but I could bring myself to watch the 2nd movie more than once.

    watched the first one, then we can have high hopes the 3rd will be more like the 1st than ROTF... :)

    I take the casting of Malkovich and McDormand as a positive sign. These are well respected actors(though I'm sure the money is a big part of why they signed on).

    I expect the film-makers will be making various measures to distance the new movie from the previous mess, and this is part of that effort.

    Of course he's saying nice things about the movie. He's buddies with Bay from doing Con Air.

    What I really want to know is where he got that loud jacket, I want one.

    I cannot stand this guy, and I don't think he has an impressive résumé at all. I'm not surprised he's attached, though. With Bay still in complete control, these movies will continue to be trash. I have no hope for TF3 being any good.
