No I don't think it will come anywhere near being that bad.

I have to be the cynical bastard... I'm not getting excited until it actually happens... and do we even know if everyone will be able to access this channel?

Honestly, this news doesnt surprise me, but it does make me extremely happy. I always figured the smart thing to do with this new channel would be an hour or two of showing the older TF series.

Anyone know who owns the rights to Thundercats? Now that's an 80's show I'd like to see again. (admitedly I'm so deep into TF fandom, I don't have much desire to see G1 eps again, but get me some Galaxy Rangers, Mighty Orbots or other rare gems from that period and I'm all over it.)

Oh and Visionary's was pretty cool too, ("sheathe these feet in the driving gail, make swift these legs over land I sail!" I can't believe I remember that)

I'd though Bravestarr into that period too. STRENGTH OF THE BEAR!!!

Thats awesome. I think animated headed in the right direction (even though I hate the designs). Maybe this will continue in the right direction.

Completely agree. I've showed my niece and nephews G1 episodes and the '86 movie and they loved it all.

Thundercats (and related property Silverhawks) is owned by Warner Brothers. In fact, they even showed the series on Cartoon Network some 10 years ago.

Visionaries, OTOH, IS owned by Hasbro: Hasbro made the toys, Sunbow produced the cartoon so that one is fair game.
