If you could choose, what would be the most wanted head for kitbashing? What head of what character for what mold? Would you like a G1 style Dragstrip head for the classics special edition? What about a Skids/Mudflap head for classics Bumblebee? If somebody were gonna manufacture one head, high quality, but needed to sell at least 20 of them at $10 each, what would you think would sell at least that many?

Animated Brawn, to scale with dlx TFA Soundwave. There's the issue of fitting the head into the hole behind it during transformation...but holes are meant to be made bigger :D

    so yea, TFA Brawn head.

I think a lot of people would like an Animated Wasp head for Activators Bumblebee

I have too many WIPs right now that I could use Classics-styled heads for: Stunticons & Menasor, Constructicons & Devastator, Combaticons & Bruticus, Protectobots & Defensor...

But just to throw one single, stand-alone figure that I would want a head for... It's going to be a Galvatron head based on and for the Voyager Classics Megatron figure.

Edit: Or you know what- Deluxe Scourge. I could use like 4 or 5 of them.

I really should have some of my heads casted. I've done some of the Combaticons so far and I'm working on a G1/Japanese-styled Galvatron head (and not from the Classics Megatron mold). I'll share it soon. But I've had TONS of requests for that Scourge head I did for my Universe Scourge last summer (did that from the Classics 2-pack Megatron head, some heavy mods to the base head itself, and with tons of styrene and topped it all off with a part from Titanium Scourge).

I don't cast anything myself, just build one-off G1-styled heads. But I'm thinking of either jumping into that or work with someone to do some like that at some point.

As for me, I'd love to see someone do a great deluxe Arcee head (even thought of trying one myself) and some G1-styled Aerialbots and Stunticons heads similar to what we've seen on that Botcon figure (it was Botcon, right?). I'm planning to do Aerialbots and Stunticons heads of my own when I get to those projects, but it may be a while (same goes for Constructicons heads--I'd like to do some G1-styled heads for the usual suspects that everyone seems to be using (with a different Mixmaster & head, of course).

I've also been tempted to do a deluxe or voyager sized Super Megatron head--I really like that character and would eventually like to take on a custom of him.

There have been Almost no after market products for animated. Theres quite a few heads from the show that think would be awesome sellers.
Voyager sized coneheads like the battle helmets swindle gives the seekers
    deluxe wasp and cliffjumper heads
    deluxe autotrooper head
deluxe battle mask prowl or sentinel prime or bumblebee
headmaster that fits on voyager starscream or bulkhead
any of these would be an instant purchase for me

I have been thinking about this and decided I want a nice (green lightpiping is a bonus) head for a crossovers Spiderman mold (gt at least, bike possible) that wouldn't require too much modification, only painting... suggestions on direction to go for?? preferably not a very well known character's head.

if you have a compatible head, let me see it and I'll think of how much I'd pay.
(naturally, a free compatible junker head would be good too)

I also think animated Kup or an original p/cp head would do well since the botcon one sold out

Get that Scourge head casted, punk. Now.
I disagree with the Arcee head, though. Personally i just rip one off a RH Arcee whenever i need one. The expression on the faces of RH's generally don't work, but Arcee's is pretty passable.

P/CP. For Deluxe SS. That would be win. Would have to have some way of covering the other face, though.

I buy a lot of heads...some board members can attest to that. I think many G1 heads still hold up, especially they larger ones. But...I'd take these as many times as you'd make them.

would last about 2 days too. After I put the botcon jazz head on TFw, I got a C&D letter from fanpub shortly after. However, I do (one day) plan to cast the P/CP head I made...

$10 for a cast head is a bit much, but some are willing to spend that.

^No wonder i couldn't order one. That's where it went. Damn.

Also, i'd want a decent set of Animated Stunticon heads.

If you cast their head, yes you'll get a C&D letter. I'm talking about my own design. I guess a Jazz head that fits the Prowl mold would go over well.

An ROTF Leader class Megatron head with longer, movie-accurate "horns" for my own custom WIP ROTF Leader class Megatron.

I'm working on a larger project at the moment, as well as buying a house. In about 6 weeks, I'll start on the Jazz head for classics Prowl, as well as a P/CP head. I'll do my own designs so Fun Pub can't shut me down.

It depends on the quality of the head, I think. Generally speaking, though, I'd agree with you. Shooting for under $10 is best imo.

yeah, really depends on how "custom" the head is. If it's a cast of an existing scout/deluxe or even any other sized head, $10 is too much (you can straight up just buy the figure (loose or complete)for $10 or less.
