    1) Very nice thinking. Bravo on that. :thumb

    2) He came to earth. Well, He did use almost all the Satellites to his personal gain. Read Transformers: Nefarious for more details. Since we know that Optimus will findout about Soundwave (Nefarious #3 or so), I don't think SW can go back to Orbit.

    3) Yes... So true. We'll know who arrives, in the upcoming Prequel Comic Book series to Transformers 3.

    4) Again, read Nefarious. You'll be surprised ;)

    5) Not sure what happened to them. Most of them died during the battle and due to the lack of energy. But, the ending sequence of ROTF: The Game showed that a huge number of soldiers are ready and willing to go to war alongside Megatron.

    6) Transformers: Defiance (Prequel to ROTF) told us that Optimus is the last child born to the Prime Dynasty.

    :)

Since the movie are their own little universe with nods to other things Cape Canaveral could open up something cool.

Perhaps Astrotrain could be one of the Seekers. Since this isn't G1 he wouldn't have to be a triple changer and a space shuttle would be something cool to transform in the movie.

Even if Wheelie didn't point him out on the map in Revenge of the Fallen they could always say he was in orbit or something at the time so that's why Wheelie didn't point out his location.

Well, might as well throw in an opinion on the Seekers:

    Astrotrain.

*Take note, the one in the link isn't around anymore, but there's eight of them, and one of them is in Dallas.

Those of you who want to work as extras on this film, bear in mind that even if you submit and are experienced you may not be considered unless you actually live in the state where they're filming.

And to whomever it was who mentioned "auditioning" -- casting for speaking roles is likely done out of LA. For extras, they just need a current photo and your physical stats (height, weight, sizes, etc.).

And the best way to submit is to contact the Film Commission of the specific state where they're filming that you're interested in working as an extra. They should have a hotline you can call for current/upcoming productions as well as info on where to send submissions on their website. And I believe every state in the US should have their own Film Commission.

    For example, here's Georgia's:

    Georgia.org - Entertainment

Simply Google "___state_name___ film commission" for the specific state site.

Sometimes I think that criticism is unfair. It is very expensive to animate this movie. The first movie took special effects to another level. I know I was wowed by them. It costs alot of money. Of course the second was easier and cheaper because they had worked out alot of the bugs and it was easier when you already had a bunch of robots. Same thing applies for this one. It is easier and probably cheaper to add more CGI.

That's just wrong. If you are a big fan and she knows it, she should have encouraged you to do it. You also didn't need permission, you are an adult but that's a whole other issue.

Texas, BABY! Lemme get a big HELL yeah from my Texan-TFW'ers!!!

Too premature to make expectations about the human/bot screentime, story, etc. But I'd guess they might very well be after the remaining Seekers.

I called this months ago. The fact that Bay agreed to do this film in the amount of time they're doing it suggested this (less locations & shootings = less physical prep = easier schedule for Bay).

Word. Does anyone know the actual location?

I don't know if it equals an easier schedule for Bay. Once the shooting on location is done there is still tons of work left for Bay to do. For all his flaws as a director being lazy is not one of them so I'd imagine he's going to be working on the film until the very last minute like he always does.

    Looks more like :
Southern New Jersey (near 3-Mile Island?)
    Somewhere in New Mexico (Roswell?)
Central Illinois (looks like around Champaign- Could REO Speedwagon have something to do with the Seekers?!)
Somewhere in Upstate New York (the X-Mansion? -just kidding)
    Central Texas.

Oddly enough, none of those green lasers is pointing at Washington DC.

Physical locations are more difficult to arrange and set up (and if a shot doesn't go properly, even longer to re-do). If the article is accurate, and this movie features 25% less on-location shooting than Movie 1, then to me that means a less-hectic schedule for Bay himself. Now, for the CG artists, that's another story.....

he definately is not lazy, and despite how much critisism his movies get he puts a lot of effort in what he feels makes a good movie. other than ROTF all his movies finish on time..as he would say he gave them away....ROTF was taken away...
