And this is why I download the majority of what I watch and not buy the DVDs because you can't even trust that companies will finish something they started after you spent/wasted your money on half of it already.

Why am I not surprised about Animated season 3 not getting a DVD release...maybe it's because Hasbro's still milking the movie franchise like a dead whore.

It's pretty disappointing that we won't get a Season 3 DVD, but it's not the end of the world for me. I downloaded the episodes as they aired because I had work on Saturday mornings. I have season 3 on my Playstation 3 hard drive. :)

Was Animated so dreadfully unsuccessful that they won't even bother putting out a no frills DVD?

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED Animated, it just seems like it never got the support it deserved.

I'm gonna have to completely agree with that.

Also, I am sincerely pissed about this. Is Hasbro unaware that DVDs sell better when people actually remember the show? Apparently not, instead they say, "lets wait about 3 years like with the Armada DVD's. That's a great idea."

Even though I have all of season 3 on my hard drive, even backup hard drive, and other sources. I still want the DVD. Anyone know where legit complaints can be voiced to Hasbro?

    *sigh...

Lets hope that the Japanese DVD/Bluray will have an English track! But why not release season 3 through TCC? Give us something different yeah?

    LOL so true!
At least Japan made it work for them as weird as the story is.

Congratulations, you just won this thread, my friend.

Perhaps once Hasbro has finished working on the War for Cybertron video game and the third Transformers movie, they'll finally be able to put TFA Season Three out on DVD and give a well loved show the final farewell it truly deserves.

I wish I could say that this is a surprise, but honestly I've been expecting that we'd get this news for awhile now.

It sucks. But at this point...I'm pretty much over TFA. In an odd way, I wish I was more upset by this then I am. But honestly, I think I'll be ok.

Except that the movie franchise is very much alive, and TFA is actually the one that's been dead for sometime now.

I'll agree that no S3 DVD release is stupid, but I honestly never noticed that it wasn't available - DVR+HTPC FTW. I can't remember the last time I rented or bought a series on DVD anyway.

Maybe I'm not as much of a minority as I thought.

Was Animated just not as much of a success as they were hoping? I adored the series and the toys, many people did, but it feels like it was just never handled right - Season 1 premieres 7 months before toys are there, long gap between Season 2 and 3, toy releases always up in the air....all swept under the rug for the sake of a mediocre movie and 5 more bumblebee releases:rolleyes2
