I've recently gotten back into Skate 2. I think its the nice weather and my inability to actually skate any more. For some reason I just finally got "it". Skate 1 I was all over but 2 just lost me. There was so much left undone and all of it I had given up on ever doing. I've just been able to ace just about everything, especially stuff I just could not do at all before.

In about 28 hours (real time, maybe 3 hours game time) I've managed to go from 350 Gamerpoints up to 1,175. I was finally able to finish the final five Pro Challenges I had absolutley given up on and breazed through the Bowl/Pipe competitions I always struggled with.

Finished Act 2 of Gears of War, took me a couple tries to figure out the way to stop the 3 boomers at the end.

Then mail came and in it Street Fighter 4 and Mass Effect. Started messing with SF4, not bad at all. Now to unlock everyone though.

playing lots of Game Room. Got the blisters achievement. Found a cheap way to get it. My TV has different inputs for my Cable, DVD, and XBox. I had Xbox running on it's input and loaded Adventure. I just kept my little square in a empty room and moved it back and forth, meanwhile I watch Lost. Got the medals for Adventure and got a 5gp achievement I'd be pained to get otherwise. Seriously play a game for 1 hr of continuous play? yeesh. Now that is out of the way I can focus on all the other games.

picked up Sonic Adventure 2 for the Gamecube and played it for the first time.
There some REALLY frustrating things about this game, but I love Sonic so much... I'm glad I paid 6 dollars for it.

Starting to go through Crackdown again. Good times. Also picked up Just Cause 2, which has just been a lot of fun, and the setting is just really nice to look at.

Playing Coop campaign in Dawn of War II. Tons of fun coordinating attacks with a second person and much easier to micromanage 2 squads instead of 4.

OMFG WTFBBQ! That has coop?! Why didnt I buy this game yet? Then again, I think the reason was because the playable factions arent my favorates and the expansion introduces Chaos? Gimmie my Imperial Guard and Tau dern it.

Anywho, for my birthday I got a 720P HDTV and I'm so estatic about it. Im currently playing through Splinter Cell Double Agent to get ready for Splinter Cell Conviction, but I want play through all 40+ of my games in HD goodness. Just after Double Agent, where do I go after that?

How the hell did you get to level 9 already? I didn't even know that was possible with the number of games available currently. Shit, the most I've seen anybody have was level 4! :lol

I've been grinding Heavy Rain to get all the trophies. Only need 3 more to get my first ever Platinum. The devs warned people to just let the experience they have with the game stand as-is, get the ending you get and that was your game. Now I see why they said what they said though. When I beat it I was ready to give it an A and call it one of the better games I've played this generation. After going through and getting all the endings it's probably a B at best, maybe a B-. The reason:
There are 20-something endings, but ALL of them are affected by the combination of events that occur in the last handful of chapters. Many of them can be changed by altering what happens in the chapter right before the final one. This means you never need to go further back than perhaps a half hour at most to totally alter the conclusion of the story. The game gives the illusion that every decision you make matters, but the reality is that it's only true when you start to approach the endgame. I never would have known that if I'd played through once and let my experience stand, blissfully unaware that nothing I did for the first 8 hours mattered at all.

Bought a bunch of old games recently that I'd missed when they came out. I've sorta poked my feet into Mass Effect and The Orange Box. Still not sure which one I'll actually tackle fully next. Still need to finish my Good guy run through of inFamous also.

I bought about 14 games. and medaled up in them. That is how you do it.

    1xp - Bronze
    3xp - Silver
    5 xp - Gold

I've gone triple gold on several games. Most games I got gold on all but the time spending. Others I got bronze or silver in points/survival. I still need to work on spending time on several. It isn't too hard... just very time consuming.

Also to get the Blisters achievement I know an easy way to get it. You have to play a game for 1hr straight. If your xbox runs on a different input than your cable, load up adventure. Then go into an empty room and then move to the top and move back and forth. Meanwhile watch TV while moving the joystick for 1hr. Come back check your achievements. Got the achievement? Then you can quit.

    EDIT:
Ok her is my games and their medal progression:
    Tempest - 3 gold
Shao Lin - 2 gold, 1 Bronze (time spender)
Red Baron - 1 gold (pts), 2 bronze
    Yar's Revenge - 3 gold
Asteroids - Silver (pts), 2 bronze
    Lunar Lander - 3 gold
    Finalizer - 3 gold
    Battlantis - 2 silver, 1 Bronze (TS)
    Super Cobra - 3 gold
Adventure - Gold (only 1 medal catagory)
    Jungler - 2 gold, 1 silver (TS)
    Centipede - 2 gold, 1 Bronze (TS)
Road Fighter - 2 gold, 1 silver (TS)
    Cyrstal Castles - 1 silver(pts), 2 bronze

    So totals we have:

    Gold: 25
    Silver: 6
    Bronze: 8

Mainly Bayonetta, have to say i prefer the amount of combos compared to the Devil May Cry series. Currently I'm on Mission 6, I also find the game to be quite difficult, I dont know I guess I'm just used to Devil May Cry's gameplay.

Been playing God of War 3 and I finally finished today. That was definitely one hell of an adventure. Next week I'm going to get the GoW Collection and play through all three again since I'll be on spring break.
