Sometimes I'd think this is somebody trolling, but... (western born and raised) Japanophiles do behave in this way.

 

Gah. I hate the way the Japanese advertise and present stuff. It sounds like they're either incredibly over excited or trying too hard.

That, and the way Women strive to the high pitched voices make my ears bleed.

lol. In the culture over there it seems that youth is prided among the people, so women drive their voice box into overdrive trying to sound younger which leads the the squeaking that makes me want to punt a baby.

Don't know what the over series acting comes from. It's just probably the way the language works.

They have the guy doing the voice of Flame Convoy and Alexander Anderson doing the Voice of Megatron.......PERFECT! So are they done with the Convoy naming system now? Did the Americans win on what Optimus' name is across the world? lol

That's misunderstanding.Takaratomy just uses popularity of Movie.
In Japan, Movie's world and Anmated's one aren't same.

I'm genuinely interested in watching the Japanese version of this show. Most of it is curiosity as well as a desperate need to see something animated.

 

Why are they talking about Rescue Fire in the commercial? Did the commercail air after an episode of Rescue Fire? Or is TFA gonna air in the timeslot after it?

 

Takara has been talking a while now about making the names correspond with the American versions. The movies were the first step to that.

 

So does anyone if the japanese fans are excited about Animated? I wonder if there's already japanese fans that have read about what happens in the show while it was airing here or if some of them already imported alot of the toys

 

I'd be interested to see this Japanese version of the show too actually. I find Japanese voices rather cute in general, except the ear-piercing high-pitched young boy voices (I'm looking at Break from BW Neo!).

Anyone think they'll make Animated Optimus a relative of Fire Convoy from "Car Robots" since they're both fire engines? Tee hee!

 

I don't understand Japanese, but I can recognize Norio Wakamoto's voice anywhere. I don't plan to watch this dub (no reason to...I'm not a huge anime fan, and I prefer to watch series in their original language....in this case English), but I think the casting was spot-on nailed for Megatron. Heck, Norio's regular speaking voice sounds like Animated Megatron anyway.

 

Rescue Fire ended yesterday. It will be replaced by Transformers Animated.
That is why they mentioned Rescue Fire in the commercial. Bumblebee says that he likes Ritsuka (Fire-3) A LOT and Wakamoto-san (Megatron) says he will come for you in your dream if you don't watch the show in the commercial.  

The fans over there are crazy about the show. From I read from the net they don't really care about what had happened over overseas as long as they have their own dub of the show. Prime and Megatron toy set seems to selling well over there.

 

I hope that japan just goes crazy over animated so they give it a proper last season.
