Shame on me for forgetting Jazz. The 'bot so unique, no attempt was made to find him a replacement voice actor for 20 years!

DAMN! I am really torn between Grimlock and Soundwave. Gotta go with Soundwave, though! Fucking Bumblebee needs to GTFO so Grimlock AND Soundwave can be in the top 5.

    Dinobot.

I don't see anything saying it has to be G1, so I'd pick Dinobot.

guys, c'mon - you're all totally missing the point.

hasbro have had their chance - they've Ruined Transformers Forever on a regular basis since the year dot and now it's our turn to Ruin Transformers Forever by getting Erector, or Dirt Box, or Slag, or Randy into the TF hall of fame.

Years from now people will talk about 'fan favorite' Erector, and he'll be assured a release in every major toyline yet to come. Think about it. Clearly Hasbro have underestimated the sheer number of juvenile 30-somethings in their fanbase, and by combining like a superior Superion made entirely of superb we can slip Erector in there from behind.

If not for yourselves do it for your children, and your children's children. or at least any children born before 2012.

    (i made Dirt Box up)

As much as I'd love to say Shockwave, the 5th-most-popular Transformer is definitely Soundwave. No bones about it.

...or maybe it's just that Jazz took a backseat in the cartoon becasue Hasbro stopped producing him.

As much as I find the character dull, this should probably be Grimlock.
