will the idea ever be explored in the sense that the transformer character that is a cybertronian godmaster is theirself the godmaster to a larger transformer character that has died but has in essense been brought back from the dead as a sort of living ghost so to speak

the dead character being revived and ressurected with that person still having their memories , and life experience in tact but it being the cybertronian godmaster who would be living through that lifeless person in mind body and in spirit

basicly imagine if transformers animated had played out in such a way that ratchet and optimus had actually found a way to use the allspark as a way for optimus to successfully posess omega supremes lifeless stasis locked body with optimus himself as a cybertronian technopathic godmaster manipulating omega supremes body as a literal extension of his own mind, body, will and lifeforce

it being sort of a cross between masterforce and shamanking in a way

 

Not likely since the whole point of the Godmasters was that it was the power of a human spirit that gave them their great power.

If you actually mean a Powermaster - which is a completely different animal - Then the answer is still no, because the whole point of The Powermasters was that the TFs were getting their energy, a superior energy, from the biological processes of their human "engine".

What you seem to be proposing is basically what we got in Armada, Energon, and Cybertron. Optimus wearing other TFs as a power up.

In Armada Prime combined with his trailer, Jetfire, and Overload. Energon he combined with his drones, Wing Saber, and Omega Supreme. And in Cybertron he combined with his trailer, Leo Breaker, and Wing Saber.

Other than the fact that you're proposing that a TF use another TF's lifeless corpse as battle armour, how is it any different than what we've already gotten?

to be honest i am surprised no one else has considered exploring the idea yet

in mythos fictionally speaking i think it would be relatively easy for sari to use the allspark as a way to successfully mod prowls lifeless body into being a transtector body for her to bond with as a godmaster warrior but those are just my thoughts on the matter

And why would anyone want to? If you're going to have a Transtector why not have it be an all new construct? There's something really morbid about, say, Spike wanting to use Wheeljack's lifeless body as a Transtector.
Not only would it be awkward for the Bot's since Wheeljack was their friend, it would be awkward for Spike for the exact same reason!

And if it was some random stranger using his body I think it would immediately illicit great anger from the fallen Bot's friends/allies.

was hoping in animated, sari was used as a powermaster and little prime became power master prime, sadly it wasn't to be.
