I'm disappointed that we won't get Animated Arcee and Ratchet, but not surprised. Oh well, guess i'll just have to import.

    Ebay:
As a US based ebay seller...yeah shipping prices can be high, especially when I have to insure and track all my shipments. Shipping can be done cheaper but realize no tracking and no insurance if your cool with that.

If anybody here needs help in acquiring anything just shoot me a PM and I'll see what I can do. All I want is to cover my paypal fees, shipping and maybe gas.

Does anyone think it'll just be a cycle that gets worse?

The Generations line will hit. Due to poor sales in the UK of the last RotF lines, they won't be released over here. Poor sales because Hasbro gave us fuck all to buy.

I'm annoyed by the RotF stuff, but if we don't see Drift, WfC toys, Thrust etc. then I'll have some issues.

Oh we'll get battle blade bumblebee. Hasbro will end up making plenty of those. Of the three new ha toys, at least one will be scarce. Jazz will be part of hfd so probably mudflap or b-cade.

Maybe so, but it won't sell well at that pricepoint. Consequently it will eventually get knocked down to £20 after a year or so, and Hasbro will decide it's not worth releasing any more here in the future.

I thought the NEST Voyagers were already out. I read the Toyfair Australia report which stated Grimlock was a TRU exclusive but no Acree or Cyb Ratchet.

At least we've got a question worth asking in the next Hasbro Q&A now. And that question is: 'Hasbro UK. WTF?' And then point them to this thread to see how pissed off people are.
I'm sure there's some clever business reason why this is happening but it's also not great for customers that are so ready to throw cash at Hasbro for their figures but have to go outside the official release route for more and more of their purchases. I'm sure if many of us could buy what we wanted at official retail then we would, but all this does is push people to importing, or worse, out of collecting TF altogether.

It'll never get asked; other burning issues such as when [insert toy name here] is being released will be asked instead. And if by some miracle it is, prepare yourself for the same stock answer along the lines of
"We're sorry, but the decisions of Hasbro UK have nothing to do with Hasbro US. We couldn't comment/speculate on their reasons. But we remain committed to giving collectors the best products we can! Thanks for asking!"
that we always get when anyone asks Hasbro US anything about anywhere that isn't the US.

I'm really hoping that Animated Ironhide and Rodimus will be released as part of the Generations line! Seems a shame to waste such lovely molds (well, for rodimus at least.)

Just pre-ordered a japanese Arcee from Kapow Toys out of sheer frustraton. I may order Blackout, too.

They told me I'd have to ring up Hasbro Marketing/corporate as they won't supply an e-mail for them.

I'm just as miffed with them for all the Movie 2 Deluxes they are leaving out of the line too.

    -----------

Shouldn't we be angry about the lack of new RPM's too (joke).

Or that we might not get ROTF Bruticus, Animated Thundercracker or Animated Bulkhead's repaint.

I don't think Hasbro have an easy excuse for a lack of almost no new Transformers since last September/October - or that they've put the prices of Deluxes up to £15.00 in the middle of a credit crunch.

I really will not buy them at that price - I was disgusted enough with £12.99 and therefore bought everything in sales- I think they will end up having loads of half price sales and selling nothing at full price.

When the toys were £9.99 they sold and continued to sell and were rarely discounted - now they are more expensive they are on sale all the time - the problem with that is it damages Transformers core brand status - and leads to a cycle of boom an bust between each movie line.

what the hell, no NEST Voyagers...this could be one of the worst years for transformers collecting I fear here in the UK.

looks like if we want our bludgeon, mindwipe and Recon Ironhide we are going to have to go elsewhere. thank you Hasbro UK for f**king us over again!

That wasn't exclusive to Argos though, TRU had them over here as well. They sat on the shelves for about two years.
