I was sitting here thinking which maybe my first mistake but am I the only one who is sick and tired of every ultra magnus figure that comes out is a direct repaint of prime? I know that when magnus came out it was prime colored white but with armor. But you think the makers would come out with a different mold by now. It may be just me who knows
Moving to TF Toy Discussion. And repaints are part of life when collecting Transformers. I for one am a Magnus fan, so if I'm going to buy a repaint I might as well get it of a character I like. Added bonus is the Prime toy was good in the first place.
yea, this is the first actual magnus to come out as a white repaint IN A LONG TIME i believe 2007-2008 was the last one?
your rite split i did forget rid shi I know repaints are a fact of transformers life i like magnus to but i think hasbro is pretty lazy not only with magnus repaints but all the others that are being rehashed
i know i wasn't the ones who didn't get him cause he was a white repaint haha i need one badly for my city commander, i didn't get one cause he was a target exclusive, which means he was WAY too far away for me to purchase one
I am not sick of the UM repaints at all. In fact, I am anxiously awaiting and hoping for ROTF leader Prime to be repainted into Ultra Magnus.-
I'd sell you one of mine, but I've grown to love my standing army too much now. XD One of the funniest things is that most of the Classics Magnuses I have are from people here on the boards that just wanted the Skywarp.
yes, but it is significantly more than a simple white repaint and i remember the stories shibamura, it ticks me off when people complain about how expensive the set is and regretting not getting the set when it was cheap cause of a white prime repaint, there are those people that badly wanted it and just couldn't get there in time haha
Well, the repaints of the ROTF Legends BB are more sickening, put a few markings on the side, presto! A new BB! *hurl* Too bad I'm a BB completist...
It would be nice with a new magnus that is white but comes with armor. Just repaint the next prime into magnus and make some armor for him that turns into his trailer. we coudl this in the 80s .
lol! I too never buy "white" Primes. Then when City Commander came out, I kicked myself pretty hard. Never did get Magnus. In fact, underneath my CC Armour is a junker Prime I had bought incomplete.
