Where did these names come from: Wheeljack, Jazz and Grimlock...though I think Grimlock has been confirmed for only the DS version.

 

If its from Wikipedia I am automatically calling BS. Mind you, the only guys on that list who haven't been actually confirmed yet are Wheeljack and Jazz who I would love to have in the game.

 

I believe Grimlock is in the Game or so it looked like in a screen shot.

 

Kup, Arcee, Drift, the entirety of g1 season 1-2 cast, Springer, six shot, the wreckers and Sari.

I'd also say gestalts, but that's a game 2 kind of thing. Upping the ante of the war.
But then again, I could always see a limb mode expansion happening that works on only key bots that are on teams. Transform to vehicle or limb mode, and core body has to 'collect/connect' to them and takes control. Then the player of a limb just respawns as a secondary backup bot they have to pick. Devastator being a different issue as there is no 'core body' character. So he could just have some random minigame syncing experiment.

Hot Rod's kind of the only character that can't fit in this scenario at all. Even random armada/energon or cybertron characters could fit. But foremost I think they should just cover in even amounts per side, every character in the original 'history' for it. From Kup, to A3, and more including some comic throw ins like Drift, the wreckers, an decepticons to match.
Hopefully the game will have DLC out the ying yang to expand the characters.
That list above just looks about right for who we see in the trailer. And the bots do work in 3 man teams so far from what we've been told, but we don't know if that's story based or pick your own, nor if each team is unique. Trypticon and Omega being different.

 

I really want Hot Rod along with Sideswipe, all season 1 and 2 characters, Springer, Kup and Magnus. But Hot Rod is probably too young to be around at this point.

 

Not at all. Bumblebee is a youngin', and he's around. Never underestimate the longevity of Transformer characters.  

 

True good point. For some reason I always seen him older than Hot Rod.

 

I happy, Breakdown and Motormaster are going to be in the game. Cyclonus would be also cool.

Since Ratchet is already confirmed, I'd have to say Sunstreaker and Sideswipe, definitely

On the Thunderwing mission you can take Prime and Megatron! -AWESOME

Grimlock is a must, preferably that is all i would play as seeing as he is simply my favorite Autobot/ Dinobot. I would like to see, but would be too much, the rest of the Dinobots. Like i said though that would be too much.
Ultra Magnus possibly would be interesting too, as well as Brawn. Wouldn't be awesome without Brawn! Then of course Kup, just for those interesting stories.
Who i do not want to see would be Hot Rod, in any form at all. Still blame him for Optimus Primes death in the 1986 movie.

 

motormasters playable? 

 

Well, in the DS Version he will be playable, it was stated by Marcelo Matere
( mmatere ). But i dont know if he is going to be in the console/Pc version.
