Everytime I see one of these 5 page previews I have the same response. "Hey, that looks cool!" Then I never give it another thought.
I can give leeway to comics if the story isn't that interesting provided it has good art, or if the story is amazing and the art is bland....but this isn't that interesting and bland so my anticipation for the conclusion is at an all time low.
I'm rooting for Skywarp. Also good to see comics like this one and Last Stand of the Wreckers not using that absolutely hideous redesigned style.
I hope Skywarp wipes the floor with the lot of them. This 'lovey dovey' scenario with the 'human friendly' Bumblebee makes me sick - can't they develop his character more than being the kid friendly Autobot? GO SKYWARP!!!!!!!
Being "kid friendly" isn't the thing! Did you see Cliffjumper's spotlight? He wasn't running around beating toddlers to death, but he managed to show a soft spot for the children he protected and remain a strong and respected character. Bumblebee just acts soft all the time and comes off like a Sesame Street character.
Haha, a Sesame Street character, I like that. Looks like Big Bird too!!!! Would that make Wheeljack 'Oscar the Grouch' considering his moodiness in this series!?
This was a cool series, I wish Chee robots design could have been a little closer to Don's look. And I had a feeling that Bee was going to get a new form at the end of the series!
To each their own I guess. I didn't think the series was that great at all. I picked up all 4 just in case it had some bearing on the overall story, which it seems it might have to some degree. But personally, I think the writing was horrible, and the art wasn't much better.
