Well at least Transformers got some awards this time <.<

 

There are some moments that were cringeworthy, but still, I enjoyed it! Did Dragonball Evolution receive any Razzles, by the way?

Man what a load of crap. Just more "BAE-HAYTE" as I see it. I still wish Bay went up on stage and said "Suck my dick I still made money!" up on stage, then blow up the entire audience in awsumness.

 

Stupid. People liked Avatar mostly because of effects, not the story. Honestly I think both films had cheap plots (just my opinion tho). The effects MADE both so why does ROTF get flamed so much?

Whatever, I liked ROTF for what it was. It's not great but hardly the worst movie of 09, just the highest profile "bad" movie.

Still if they're giving it worst screen play I hope they remembered to include Star Trek, same guys, basically the same story structure.

I couldn't agree more. ROTF was FARRRR from what i expected/wanted but there were a few things that i enjoyed. While I've waited from 85 to 07 for this to become a reality i can still agree w/ some haters as well as some enthusiasts. Would their opinions tell me if i was gonna see a movie or not? Not all too likely.

 

I agree with the Razzies people. Transformers 2 easily was the worse film of 2009, taking into account the sheer amount of dollars it hoodwinked the people into paying. The film was too long, too boring, too meandering, too offensive, and overall too stupid compared to the other "blockbuster" films of last year.

Were there any good parts of the film? Sure. The forest fight was awesome. Thumbs up on the insecticon homage. The fight in China rocked. Everything else in the film failed. Twins were horrid. Sideswipe, Jolt, Soundwave, Sideways, and Ratchet were cheated out of valuable screen time in favor of two robotards. The "Alice" bot was a stupid idea. We can have a Decepticon perfectly mimic a human, but we can't have Dinobots? And finally, the ending was a complete failure. For all his "power" the Fallen was taken out in two punches! Seriously. Prime flies in, knocks down The Fallen, blasts Megatron away, then punches thru the Fallen's chest, and that's it. Over in less than two minutes.
We wasted ALL the boring, stupidly ridiculous "issues" with Sam and Mikaela, the stupid unfunny roommate, and the pointless Agent Simmons only to have a two minute finale?

Sorry, Bros, but the 1986 Transformers movie is Oscar worthy compared to this. Heck, MORTAL KOMBAT deserves recognition before this. This movie deserves to be placed amongst the likes of Halle Berry's "Catwoman" in the $h!thole of hollywood.

im glad it did. i agree! i thought it was a piss take of the hard fans. devastator with balls! devastator running around, while the combiners that combined him 'were at the same time' fighting!? a stoned mum! a love story the made most of the films script! ..... it goes on... i would say best comedy of the year maybe.

 

I take it you never saw New Moon then. Because that was easily the biggest, most festering pile of shite I have ever had the displeasure of watching.

and theres the belief that they got what they wanted out of that and they are quite justified in feeling that way. there is *nothing* wrong with liking it.

ROTF was a very bad movie. I doubt it was the worst. Many other films were worse. Anyway, the movie was entertaining, I hoped no more from a Michael Bay Film. But don't missundestand me, I like his movies.
