Hello all! First I must say thanks to all for the info within the forum, it really got my blood flowing looking at everyone's custom transformers, especially all the Devastators Ive seen, which bring me to my questions.

I've already started to acquire parts for my custom Devastator. So far I have

    RID Landfill Team
    Cybertron Landmine
    Energon Demolisher
    Energon Barricade
    KO Devastator Shield
    1 Lego Knights Kit

I'm still looking for a pair of Cybertron Primus hands/arms and Unicron Waist/Thighs (if anyone has some to sell)

My question is am I missing anything in my list, and where do i get the knees parts for the Devastator I've seen others make. Also could I use the waist/thighs from Cybertron Primus instead of getting them from unicron. Also I saw peeps were getting custom devastator heads, whom do I talk to about purchasing one. And last, what type of paints do i purchase, a certain brand thats better.

    Thanks in advance!!

Looks like you registered just for this. Now that you're a member, you can use the Search function. Which will help you out a lot. Also, there's a Resource section/thread specifically set up to help with a lot of what you're asking.

    Lastly, what you're missing:

A head. A lot of people use Cybertron Supreme Starscream heads, either real ones or casts. And some others use a straight G1-styled head cast by Ptitvite.

Mixmaster's cement mixer parts. I personally have those parts from a Tonka truck that seems to not be easily available in stores at the moment. Others use a Bedford model. Either way, Ebay may be the best way to find one. Though one member did manage one out of ROTF Mixmaster's cab and drum.

And the knees you mention, if I have this correct, are just the knees from Unicron.

The paints are available at any hobby shop. Take your pick. Don't know how many others feel about them, but Tamiya's Light Green and Purple spray cans seem to already be the exact colors. Though you're by all means free to take your own liberties.

Anyway, search function is your friend. You should have all the information you would need from either tutorial threads or by going through the threads of other peoples' Devastator projects. Good luck.

Well, I think the technic parts you want are X-cross pins and corresponding pieces. And pins... The knights kingdom, just get the sets that make the knights, you specifically looking for ratchet joints, so exo-force sets work to.

Yea, I was looking for exo-force lego's, they were warming up shelves all over the place some time ago, but they're all out of stock now, so I conveniently and coincidently noticed the ratcheting joints on the miner lego's.

Primus' upperlegs are shorter than Unicrons, and it's more difficult to add vehicles to his lowerlegs, not impossible, but more difficult.

His waist should be fine. Waist articulation could even be better than Unicrons

Thanks again with the info Fate!! I've got all my parts ordered thanks to everyone's helpful advice. The only remaining part I need a little help with is the cement mixer/barricade mod. I looked at some local stores and found a few, but the cement mixing barrel on the back looked way to small. So if anyone can give me some more info on where to get one, or if anyone has one to sell please send me a pm. Also any tips on how i need to mod it to fit barricade or pictures would be appreciated, thanks again everyone!
