Unlike some I actually like the movie designs, in a way anyways. I like how the Arcee bikes all are stacked up onto themselves and ride on their wheels to give them a slim and tall look as motorcycles of course aren't as bulky as cars. And how Demolisher is just a big wheeled monster that drives around and wrecks anything but that's it, I feel many of the movie designs work well as monster transforming robots but not Transformers who are an actual race and have personalities and such. I mean on Cybertron did Demolisher really live as a giant wheel? How the hell did that work out? Or Devastator, assuming that the Cons that formed him could only turn into vehicles and form Devs how did they live on Cybertron? Did Arcee just roll around on a wheel her whole life? I mean these are actual characters that had lifes on Cybertron. Does anyone else feel what I'm saying?

    MrSG:

I see what you're saying. Why don't you try and put some of that stuff in your photocomic?. That would be fun to read, and when you got bored with Demolishor's domestic bliss, or the things he does for fun, just have somebody write him in the notebook. :D

His toy bio has some interesting stuff, with him being a protector of a small Decepticon band.

There's a lot of untold stuff in the movies that could be really cool if somebody brought it out.

I guess my problem is they are just too alien and that makes them rather hard to relate to.

I can understand the logic of they are alien so there really isn't any rules about what an alien should or should not look like, but I think there is some point where a designer has to wonder will people relate. We can relate to say to a dog because their faces are like our faces just enough to humanize them, but it's hard to relate to a crab because they are just so alien compared to how we look.

I think that bots like as Arcee had completely different bodies while on cybertron, Devastater is still unexplainable seeing as Skids or Mudflap identified Devastater and knew him as a Combiner meaning your point about how devastater would live is right.

I'd guess that all robot had their own functions back in Cybertron, so it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine that Demolishor for example had a giant wheel body for demolition or Rampage used his jumping ability to help in constructions etc.

Since we don't know very much about conditions on Cybertron it's possible that things like Rampage's jumping could have been even more useful there than on Earth.

My only complaint is that sometimes they're a pain in the ass to draw.

Heck as far as we know, in Cybertron, Mixmaster could flap his barrel shields to fly or some shit.

    SGF:

Alien or not, they are clearly inferior to the Dalek model of truly perfect form, and must therefore be exterminated.

I'm sure the Cybermen think they're fantastic, however. They've probably got posters of the Arcee twins and everything.

    This. :lol

And also, cars here are earth are not as complex as what Cybertron may have, so shape-shifting may cause odd proportions, something that was never a problem to me though.

    Folks:

Oh, I know who Lennox was talking about, but no Cyberman wants a poster of the Bad Humor Twins. Ugh! :D  By the Allspark, I get a lot of misreads lately. :D

Arcee triplets, then. Big hit on the planet Mondas. :D

Who are these "bad humor Twins?" I don't recall them in the movie. I remember some good humored Twins, but not bad humor.
