It would be illogical not to include him.  

 

In game bonus' need to be more freakin' amazing than Shockwave to get me to pre-order a game at a certain store. Now give me tangible (read "special edition figure") bonus material and you have me.

 

Well this is a good sign that the Wii version will suck. All the other versions will have tons of characters as DLC and the Wil will have a whole 3 characters that are actually playable.

I'd get it for PC too. But I still feel burned by getting the PC version of ROTF that didn't get any further support or DLC. PS3 version for me.

 

My friend Graham pre-ordered Marvel Alliance 2 or w/e it was (the one with Juggernaut as the pre-order toon). When he entered the code he was given he got a message saying "No more download codes are available." Mind you he got no kind of discount or any compensation for his pre-order. Instead he made a commitment to buy the game from GameStop - and got nothing in return for them getting his money.

Maybe they stepped up their game and can deliver Shockwave, but I'm not sure. I'll buy it when it comes out and get Shockwave as part of the download content. Game Crazy is usually cheaper anyways.

preordering? gamestop?!?, oh no, not happening. as much as i like exclusive, gamstop isnt getting my money anymore.
why pay $60 plus tax for a extra character when i can get a game a week before its out at $60 straight up. he'll probably be downloadable content anyways

 

I'm pretty sure Shockwave will be one of the most popular characters for this game, so even having this as an exclusive for GameStop is going to be a huge sales boost for them.

You know I didn't get a code for the Multplayer Maps in Gears of War 2 in either of the copies I bought - I had to take one back as it was faulty and neither had a code in it.

I understand it's written on the free 48 hour Xbox live trial card and I did get a leaflet with a Gold Lancer code on it....

All a bit strange - I understand they had problems with missing cards in South America and South Africa too.

I only found out that I was supposed to have got such a card recently though so I'm a bit annoyed about it.

 

Hmmmm. Not sure what to make of this......I want to play as Shockwave but I don't want to preorder at Gamestop. No clue what to do.

He should function like he does here, Shockwave at his best. Isn't this why he was left on Cybertron, protecting the planet that was then predominately Decepticon?

 

Yes. He is kickass maximus! In some Transformers timelines he overthrows Megatron as leader of the 'Cons.

Why is everyone so excited? This is a piece of the game that by all rights EVERYONE should get and they're getting you to either preorder at a specific place or possibly paying extra later on.

"Yay, they're letting me pay extra to unlock stuff already on the disc!"
