No, you aren't the only one thinking of the same... However this price does beat the japanese 's release individually which is a good news... I love combiners but hate how small they are, too.. so I felt like having more freedom to get it or not... and since it is WM exclusive, I 'd wait till they warmshelf... at the discount price...

Bgrngod 's pic is awesome but I wouldn't buy that supreme Devs just because they don't transform individually... I want to tell Hasbro that they can't just sell anything they built... (to me at least)

^ Nah, you omit the zero.
All the stores I've been calling, looking for HA Barricade, start the UPC after the 0

Ok....I just tried calling around a bit with the zero and...I'll be damned, it worked. Apologies bro, not in stock yet though.

He might be just a little overhyped. I got mine on Sunday, and the initial reaction was disappointment. He's just a little bigger than a deluxe, barely posable, and the Constructicon Legends? They're not the best legends, lets just put it like that.

Overload and Mixmaster are particularly wretched.

Scavenger and Scrapper are pretty good though. The limited posability is a pain, and I don't think much of the default pose, but he is starting to grow on me

Got mine today. Picked up Legends Arcee and Stealth BB also. Now I can display him together and loose with my Takara ones. This version is way better than the large one unless its custom painted.

    $30+?

Pass. Forget it. Rather not have to shop at Walmart anyways.

7 figures. That's ~$4.57 per fig. How is this considered, by so many in this thread, to be overpriced? They are cheaper than single packed Legends and they COMBINE.

I understand the question, I guess when you can get an Ultra Class figure for the same price, it makes one wonder if its worth it. Yes, $32 for seven legends is a good deal... but, I am torn if these are worth it. I'd rather spend it on a HA Barricade... but that's just me.

I definitely think this set is a bit overhyped, but I'll be getting it anyway, since I'm trying to collect Legends versions of the Movie cast and I like the Constructicons. However, I don't get the complaints about the price; it's 7 Legends for roughly the same price as purchasing 7 individual Legends.

I don't get it either. Try buying 7 Legend toys at once and see how much you spend. Then try to combine those seven together into a bigger robot without using any adhesives or mods.

Of course, if you don't like the movie version of Devastator or his overall size as a Legends combiner, fine. But the price is spot on, especially when you consider it's a Wal-Mart exclusive.

As for me, I will buy this on sight. I've been waiting for it ever since the Takara version surfaced last year.

Picked up 2 sets last night from my local Walmart. I already had the Japanese release, but the hasbro display is far superior to the individual packing of Takara. I was so busy hitting Toys R Us looking for animated Walmart was not even a thought. Thanks U-W for correcting my focus
