that prime is mad ill! i will have to see how more toys turn out...looks like i might be buying from this line!

 

agreed, im not a fan of the unicron trilogy or g1 either but i dont go around saying how bad i think they suck and that they ruined tansformers because i know that some people do like them series. but it does seem that people who dont like the movieverse seem to think its ok to bash it but get very sensitive when anyone calls them on it.

but on topic i like primes new look, and i definetly like megatrons look but i aint really feeling his arms but like most people said its probally just a misstransformation.

 

Both look good but I want to see Megatron transformed correctly, and hopefully his gun can mount on his right arm. I thought Prime would be bulkier.

The proper megs transformation is what I'm really holding out for too, that can't be right.

 

Looking at the figure it looks like the top shoulder panels slide into the sides to complete the bulky look. It just looks like a mistrasformation from here, so I will await better pictures of it in hand. Same with megs.

 

Megatron looks sweet, too bad he fakes a bit of his transformations. Prime not so interested in, never liked his new design.

 

They left Megatrons arm cannon off in robot mode. I know it attaches there somehow.

There is something about Primes torso/abdomin that doesnt look right to me. I wish they would go back to having that part transform too instead of just being a big molded piece.
I think the panels on Primes shoulder should be pushed further down next to the Autobot symbols, that and the wheels behind his back should come in more.

I'll have to see some the other figures and reviews here before making a final verdict. As of now, I'm 50/50.

 

Great find, Optimus' robot mode looks good, along with Bumblebee. The rest im not so much impressed with. But im sure I will pick them up anyway  

 

I think Megatron's alt mode is meant to be a decepticon logo when viewed from above. I like it   I love cybertronian modes.

Megatron looks almost identical to the Animated, which I really am not a fan of. But the robot mode seems to be better looking than TFA. Hopefully final images of Megatron will show he is a better figure.

That Prime, WOW. Really is a good mesh of G1 and Animated. I was concerned about things being taken from Animated, but Optimus Prime was done VERY nicely. It's Megatron I am worried about.

 

Looks great, I am sure Megatron is just mis-transformed, and will look better in person. I love the face sculpts in this line, it is as if they took everything that they learned from the last two years of movie lines and applied them to a G1 aesthetic, thus the result is a much more detailed G1 look.

 

Okay, so Prime isn't exactly as accurate and stylized as the in-game model, but I'll be damned if that isn't one of the coolest Prime actions figures I've ever seen.

Megatron is mistransformed. Relax.

 

Megs is just mistransformed in robot-mode, but DAMN is that alt-mode cool. Same with Prime, but I don't think his mistransformation is that bad. I'll definitely be picking these up along with the game. Will these be out before or after the game's release? I'm betting before like how the ROTF toys came out before the movie.

 

I'm really hating how everybody's bashing these guys. We hear it every time a new series comes out. I know they're a little mistransformed, but this is the first images. Once we see them up close in toyfair I'm sure at least half the general fanbase will approve.

 

OMG these look super sick!! i hope trypticon and fortress maximus will get a toy out of this since their in the preview and bumble bee :3 i see some really sweet repaints in the future

 

HAHA! I think this is one of the best Primes yet. I also really really like the head design. One of the better expressions he has had in a while.

What do I know though? I'm just a character designer

I will buy two of those primes. One for robot and one for vehicle. So far the only TF I have displayed in alt mode is the Ice Cream twins, but Prime's alt mode is so slick that I'd have to have two 'cause I wouldn't be able to decide how to show his cool ass off!!
