Ah, so one Ravage per set of Bumblebee/Soundwave. That makes sense, but was hoping otherwise. $4.95 (or some amount) was expected too, for shipping, but did Hasbro charge shipping for the mail-away Doc figure during the 25th G.I Joe line? $25 for Ravage, Bumblebee, and Soundwave isn't too bad as long as you wanted the other two figures previously purchased. That said, the secondary market will probably be pretty silly for Ravage, at least until they release it at retail. :/

Anyhow, the requirement of the starter sticker will hopefully cut down on people being able to easily remove them prior to returning to the store.

    Thanks for the update.

As far as I know, only Americans can get the mail-away Ravage. Hasbro won't ship them internationally. Probably a bunch of legal reasons for this...

So we need the sticker from this set as well as the order form. Hm. I need somebody to give this to me as a gift so I won't get angry at myself for buying another Bee.

I bet those Ravages will be very pricy once they hit Ebay, but maybe you can send your form + stickers to an American friend, then let him buy it for you?

I would have offered that to some international folks, but it appears the two-packs sold outside of the U.S. don't contain the forms or the starter sticker. Do the new internationally shipped ROTF figures contain the regular stickers?

Can't say, they haven't been released in my country yet, and probably will not be for some time.

I'm willing to bet though that there will be multiple people (like myself) that just import the american NEST toys (or buy them from an online shop in the country that imports them), so at least those people should get the stickers..

oh ... the Aus released doesn't even bother to leave the mail in form ?? oh no, I imagined the kids would want to mail the forms (or sell them online...)
yeah it is not fair ... although hasbro Aus could just handle that by changing the mail cost to something higher....

at least if I was in Australia , I might ask a friend in the states to help out.... (as long as I am willing to pay the extra shipping)

btw, more importantly, I want to know if I can duplicate that "mission guide" from the original and use the copy instead... because this combo kit is not in my interest....

Ah, I read earlier that the two-pack was out in Australia, so I guess Europe is a bit behind. If you're going to import toys from the U.S., it may be easier to first ask in the Junkion Exchange to see if both the purchase of U.S. versions and Ravage could be purchased at once.

As noted previously by The_Fixer, the two-pack includes the "mission guide" and a starter sticker. The starter sticker must be used in order to obtain Ravage, essentially requiring a purchase of the two-pack.

I picked this up today and its pretty nice. I dont like movie deluxe figs but these two are nice especially that soundwave. They all seem to have very nice packaging too! Not one of them had even a krinckle! ( is krinckle a word?)

What the "starter" sticker really means, is the set comes with one of the stickers that you can find in the other NEST packages.

It isnt a special sticker as it might have sounded, BUT, you have to have that mission guide... so, you have to buy the set for the guide AND you just so happen to get a "starter" sticker for the mail away. Sneaky, I guess.

BTW... if you participate in the TRU rewards program, I used the $5 coupon that I received in the mail this past weekend and applied to this purchase.

    $16 and change total purchase.

I just found the set today. The starter sticker from the Battle Pack is the same as the other NEST stickers. However, the purchase form has an ROTF header on the top in color as well as all the rules and requirements on the back. The paper stock is pretty heavy. It would be pretty hard to duplicate. Part of the rules are:

    Another interesting rule is:

I almost take that as stores like BBTS may not be able to crack open figures for stickers and request a whole bunch of Ravages. Given that it appears to be a US only promotion, this is definately shaping up to be a hot item.

If I had a reliable way of guaranteeing new homes for extra Soundwaves and Bumblebees, I'd pick up a couple to help out the international fans. As it stands, I'm buying only one of these once they're out locally, maybe two sets.

Got mine... I am now wondering if I "Must" mail in the whole mission guide or just the last page would be fine ? I want to keep the rest of the mission guide, and the center pages with the toys information ... They did put down a "dots" line on that last page and I assume I can cut the last page out to mail w/ the rest of the stickers/money order??

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I was wondering if they made a unique sticker to make it even more difficult for people to merely remove the "Mission Guide" and re-seal the package for a return to the store. Hopefully that won't happen, but I expect it will.

If Bumblebee was different enough, i might actually buy this set. but as he is no, just not worth it right now with so many new molds coming out.
