Remolded shovel? Looks the same to me. Better paint, but the same shape.

The lines are just painted on. Also, this sports yellow paint which the Hasbro version won't have. Minor stuff, but damned if it doesn't look better than the Hasbro one. I may just spring for it.

The shovel is also painted entirely/mostly silver on the Takara one. I think Hasbro's will be a lighter red too.

I can't believe they're really reissuing the BIGGEST shelfwarmer of the last decade..

I swear, I think Hasbro molds the wrong colors or gives different paint apps on purpose so Takara can sell the truly authentic stuff. My theory is proven every time because Hasbro releases the *almost* authentic-looking version and then when the sales get low, Takara releases THE authentic version.

The shovel looks like it has decals, not paint. He's very nice though; but I really don't like the yellow. :(

I'm sold on the Takara Red Rampage, the Hasbro one is possibly too red and too bright red. I like how the silver and yellow break up that sea of red.

Disagree here. Supreme Devastator is probably the biggest shelfwarmer (both literally and numerically) of the last decade. These things do not move for sh*t at all the stores I go to. Got mine for 60 bucks during that online target deal, and I am still modding it, but I'd be damned if many parents (or fans) are picking him up at full retail price.

Demolishor, while a little weird, is still a pretty cool toy, conceptually, and in child play value. He rolls in robot mode. I know I would be all over that as a kid. And Rampage, while weird as well, scores huge points with me for looking nothing like a bulldozer in robot mode. Huge win here for me. PLUS, Takara has gone a step further and left bits yellow....just like in the Movie! The Shovel seals that deal for me, though.

Well it's not like this is a direct re-release of the original Demolisher. Plus this is TakaraTomy, who has solid cases of single figures, so who knows how the original Demolisher is sitting there.

Hasbro's release of the white Demolisher (which is different colors and details than Takara's) is in a 2 (or 3) pack with the Ice Cream Truck Twins - which seems to be a popular release.

So I don't really think the complaints on Takara's white Demolisher are warranted.

I know I didn't buy the original Demolisher, but quickly snatched up Takara's more accurate (than Hasbro's upcoming) white version.

I personally don't see the $100 Devastator that much, though I do see quite a few maroon Demolishers here and there.
