Dillinger (1945). 8/10. I just wish it had been longer. Other than that it was great.

Notorious. 10/10. Wow. All I can say is wow. What a movie.

    The Lovely Bones 2/10

A really silly film with nothing redeemable other than Stanley Tucci's performance.

Man Hunt (1941). 10/10. The Gestapo frames a man for trying to kill Hitler and pursues him all the way to London. That movie was just phenomenal. Loved every second of it.

Libeled Lady (1936). 10/10. William Powell and Mina Loy team up outside of the Thin Man franchise for this superb comedic romp. Powell was an absolute genius when it came to physical comedy! And I even loved Spencer Tracy's role.

    Pan's Labirynth : 8/10

Totally not what I expected from this movie, but was still a great movie. For some reason I expected a more horror/thriller movie, but it ended up being more of a war movie with a parallel fantasy story. The war portion was quite violent and bloody though. I would have liked a bit more interaction between the fantasy world and the real world (only the little girl was seeing the different creatures and was going into "fantasy place"), but was fun noneteless.

    Public Enemies : 4/10

I found that movie quite boring, feeled like it lasted for 4 hours! I watched it with a friend, maybe watching it again, alone, I could get more into the story, but I doupt it, the whole experience feeled bland. I'll need to rewatch The Untouchables instead to have a good time.

    Up in the Air 7/10

I was surprised that I really liked this film. The three main characters were played well and it was funnier, yet more serious, than I expected. Perhaps the current economic climate contributed to my impression, but it seemed very human (if that makes sense). I didn't completely believe the resolution as the story tended to play the actors against their brief, early characterizations, but it was a good Hollywood film. Clooney in particular gave a great performance reminiscent of Three Kings or Out of Sight.

    Dorian Gray - 8.5/10
I really did enjoy this. I'm a big Oscar Wilde fan, and I felt this was a good adaptation of the story. A few liberties taken, but nothing that ruined it. Not as good as the 1945 version with Hurd Hatfield & Angela Lansbury, but then very few movies are IMO.

    Taken : 9/10

That was quite a fun movie. Action packed, fast pace, and I'm always favorable to Liam Neeson for some reason :)

    Give em HELL Malone. 8/10

This may not have been a "good" movie, but gawd dayum, it was hi-octane! The movie acts like a friggen 1950's "doesnt take any crap" detective movie. In a way, its very cliche but thats the charm I think this movie has.
