So I've nearly completed the initial work on my 2008 Mustang GT.. to change it into my version of Megatron.  

So far, the exhaust has been changed out for Ford Racing, some chrome pieces are coming in, the rear faux gas cap has a Decepticon sticker on it (soon to be changed for a full mold) and the GT logos changed out for Decepticon logos.

The next is a Megatron-inspired license plate, and license plate frame with a quote.

* Should I use "MEGATRN", "MGA TRN", or something else entirely?
* What quote should be on the license plate frame?

(And yes, once the weather improves here in Seattle I'll have photos!)

 

A buddy of mine has the same problem. He cannot have more than 7 letters on the plate. Here is Kentucky you can apply for a vanity plate and put the full "MEGATRON" on it. You might want to check to see if you could do something like that. Here it is an extra $30. They get you everywhere they can......

 

MEGATRN gets the message across better then the other. What I suggest also is looking at other car related takes on Megatron for ideas (like his G2 Gobot, or his recent Alternity)

 

What about "MEGS"? Too kiddie?

Yeah, MEGATRN is definately the better option. For quotes, well, here's a few:

"Come here boy, I smell you!" Okay, maybe not that one.  
"Even in death, there is no rule but mine."
"You're an idiot, Starscream!"
"Peace through tyranny!"
"I'll crush you with my bare hands!"

 

I was thinking MTRON, but MEGATRN works better.

 

Peace through tyranny should totally be the quote on the license frame.

awesome but i got now ideas for a quote for such a sweet ride if it was a bit of a junker i would have suggested : I...Still....Function but that car is way too nice for it

 

I think either choice for the license plate is good.

"Peace through tyranny" was also my first thought for the quote, though you'd need to decide if that's something you're really comfortable with having on your car.

Here are a few other quote ideas:
"I belong to nobody!"
"Such heroic nonsense."
"It's over, Prime!"

 

I went the Prime route, but hopefully this may spark some sort of idea as to what to have on a plate and on a frame.

 

I think you should use:

2OBLVYN "To Oblivion" HAHA (In Ontario we can use 8 letters so in that case I would have suggested N2OBLVYN as in "Into Oblivion!"
NOP384U "No P-38 for you" if you also like Seinfeld
NOG1P38 ...You get it

 

Should have waited for the 2011 GT. 5.0 DOHC 4 valve/cylinder all-aluminum V8 with 6-speed manual. 414hp, 390 lb. ft. of torque, 7,000RPM redline...but I digress.

u should use MGA TRN because that was actually going to be his license plate on his Alternator before it was cancelled
