Classics DoubleCross. The base mold was a knockoff cybertron legends Scourge. As I mentioned in other threads, I liked the idea of using the legends molds to do hoamges to minor - smaller characters. Well, this is the case of the not so small, but minor character: DoubleCross. Actually when I got the knockoff and decided to repaint it, I began looking for dragon-alt form transformers, and there were not so many of them as I thought. However I decided that with the 3 heads, this mold was a perfect match to DoubleCross. I was thinking about renaming him: either to TripleCross, but that sounded like some pokemon evolution, so I discarded the idea, or well to just Cross, but that seemed too plain. So I decided to stick to DoubleCross. The problem of working with knockoffs is the bad quality: the right forearm was broken just when I was taking the pictures. Well, I actually used these knockoffs to practise before I painted some real toys, so it's not that much of a problem
i'm really digging all of your custom ideas so far, but i gotta say that if you found a better way to paint them, they'd be amazing. for instance, doublecross' shoulder spikes really look great with how you did the detail. but so much of the rest looks "unclean" with uneven coverage (a problem i have, as well) and spill over. using some primer might help with the uneven coverage, but you should try practicing painting thin lines to get the smooth edges in tiny areas. and again, you've got really great ideas and i hope you keep making more

I am very happy to hear that you like my ideas you are right, the work on them is not even by far what I wanted, I suppose I don't put that much attention to them since they are knockoffs, and I'm just using these for practise... but I appreciate your advices, let's see if I can improve for future repaints!

Fantastic idea! I loved my Doublecross toy when I was a kid. I would buy this in an instant in a store. If I ever run across a cheap Scourge mold, I may just have to try this myself. Your choices in color layout are fantastic.
I like the dark lines in the details. It really makes the figure come together. Good work. I'm curious as to if you hand painted him to whole way. If so, did you prime him?
u should use testers i find them to have a even base and clean the TF first so no oil is on it and then use a flat base
