I recently jumped back into LBP. Hadn't played it in a few months. I was pretty floored by the advancements people made in their level creations.

 

And they're about to get some new toys to play with.

 

Looks like LittleBig Planet is getting some pirates today...

to wreak havoc and claim some sack folk to serve as Davy's Crew.
Once again, its going to fall to Sackboy to locate the only ship on LittleBigPlanet that has any chance of sending him back to the bottom of the sea.

My wife and I bought this for ourselves for Christmas. Is it still possible to get the Kratos costume for Sackboy?

 

I thought he was widely available now. Also, I saw some levels where they show you how to make a Bumblebee Costume and it's almost dead on.

Yes it is still available it is in the LittleBigPlanet store that is in the game. I think it is $1.99 for Kratos and $4.99 for the GOW set if you want them all.

 

Totally off-topic, but the Heavy Rain dynamic theme kicks ass. The Noir fan in my can't find a better way to decor my PS3's background than with a dark rainy alley with one overhead lamp shining on a dying flower on the wet ground.

Back on topic. I really need to finish my Noir level. Last night I played a few Noir levels and one guy had this awesome Jazzy music, but I dunno where he got it from. It's not from the main game, because I'd remember it.

 

Prowl, you should have gotten the Christmas theme, c-mon man it's Christmas time! I almost bought the Heavy Rain theme but I made a custom Christmas theme to look at when the family comes over on Christmas. I will get the HR theme after the New Year.

I will be getting the Santa LBP avatar though that is cool. I am not cool with Sony now charging for them though come-on Sony that ish should be free.

Looking forward to getting the LBP packs with some christmas money though.

 

They are 49 cents, I paid for my Transformer Avatars on Live. I'm holding off on Avatars though. I got the one I wanted day one: Decked out Ratchet.

Can't think of any I'd particularly want. Maybe Vivi from FF9, or Cloud.

But yeah man, there's nothing fancy to that HR theme, but it's like looking out a window into a dark alley on a rainy night. I wish it had accompanying sound. Hey, if you play LBP, go to search, and sort by highest-rated and check out that Mario level. Damn great job.

I think you already have me hearted, you can just search under my PSN name and my two levels will show up. You don't need to play them to heart them you can just heart them Oh, and they are the same level with just a couple fixes.

 

When Joe said people were doing some cool shit on this, he wasn't kidding. I hadn't been on for a while, but damn.

But yea, people can make some astounding things in this game. However it's still a bitch to find them. They need some way to sort what style of level people made in addition to things like Hearts and Stars.

p.s. The Pirate pack was fun, but the last boss was way too easy once you learn the trick to it.
