Bruticus WIP...Update 12/23 a slightly different approach to the combiner...using yourreflection's castings and manyoufactsure's mods I finally have a WIP Bruticus. Painting is of course my next step and some Apoxy Putty to fill in some holes, but this is turn out just fine. Cool man looks good! Are you gonna do Simmifieds mod to Brawl too? I'm not a fan of the way the arms are configured for Bruticus, but that's just me What kinda paint are you using? I'm so close to being finished with my Brutality kit, I can't wait to share mine too!
Thanks guys...I have been wanting to get a Bruticus working for sometime, glad you like. Orio, not sure what I will do to Brawl, I might keep him if I cannot get a proper turret anytime soon... lotussouljah, I had this idea for some time, thanks to Manyoufactsure's work. After I got my Fansproject Superion I had this idea (see below), but then YR came in as saved me the trouble of casting stuff...so now I finally have a real WIP. I'm will get better shots when I retrieve my good camera w/ a Macro setting to show where that Vortex mod occurs in clearer detail...more later...
Wow... I'm STILL not quite what you did to Vortex. Interesting. Classics Astrotrain's nosecone actually looks really good on that jet. Nice. zmog
Thank Smog...here is a better shot of that mod...hope it helps... I basically cut out that belly hatch, cut it down and placed it on top of the Energon connector.

Looking quite nice Kalron! Those are some wonderful mods to Blastoff and Vortex BTW. The mod that you made to Blastoff is especially intriguing. I can't quite tell from his bot pic but he seems slightly shorter? His helicopter tail seems a bit different for some reason? I've always really liked your clean paint apps so I'm especially looking forward to this. Will you be painting all of them?

As for Vortex, He should be the same size, it is the rerelease of Energon Bruticus, not a KO. I do twist his torso in Bot mode, which allows the tail to fold up properly between the legs, don't know if that is different or not. Attached are a few new shots of Blastoff, bot mode shots when paint dries...this is fun!!!

Very nice work, man! I'm lovin' Bruticus as a whole and Blast Off looks awesome. Who knew that little guy could work with a few simple shuttle parts mixed in? Keep up the great work, my friend!
NICE!!! This is starting to look so G1!! I can not wait to see this bad boy fully painted. I'm going to try that mod with Vortex on my next paint. That clear picture explains a lot. Thanks buddy.
