Yeah, but I'm increasingly liking Smog's theory. It seems weird that Skystalker would be able to connect to Mindwipe without that getting a mention on his packaging.

I wondered if anyone else was thinking that.

 

I'm disappointed that Brawn's handguns are the same solid green as most of his body. That just looks bad.
I still really want the figure, but that's one of those little details that just kinda makes me go: "Aw, really?" and ruins a little bit of the awesome.

I wasn't really expecting much out of the Mindwipe Skystalker combo. More or less looks like what I thought it would. Predator drone docked with stelth jet.

Ratchet for some reason looks a little better to me then I first thought...Even though he's an odd pee green and lacking in paint...The mold itself looks kinda nice for a Deluxe movie Ratchet...He's kinda become a maybe on my list.

Lockdown is completely crazy looking, but it's awesome.

Concept art shows Lockdown having triple-jointed legs, and the Toy seems to imply this as well. If the legs were positioned that way I'm sure it would look better. However, he's still an "Eh" to me.

Brawn, on the other hand, looks fantastic. I didn't like his initial promo pics, but he looks fantastic in these. I actually do like Ratchet- he won't be Ratchet to me, but I think he is a really cool toy. Skystalker is a definite yes.

Yeah, I've actually seen that quite a few times with pics of movie figs that have the satyr leg thing going.
Almost seems like some people straighten them out like they're trying to begrudgingly make it look more like a classics figure, but doesn't quite work.

The only movie fig I've seen that can actually pull that off is the upcoming ROTF Mindwipe.

Maybe someone will kitbash it into a movie Hound or something.

He looks to be a heavily modified 1980s corvette.

Must have Skystalker and Mindwipe! Interesting too given that USAF recently confirmed the existence of a new spyplane lol.

Brawn looks surprisingly good and I think that one just shot to the top of my purchase list. Skystalker also looks really neat on his own, but the combination with Skystalker doesn't come out looking so good; the angles on the two jets are too different for it to look cohesive. Ratchet looks like crap and I'll be skipping him, since I already have the Voyager. Lockdown also looks pretty bad, continuing the character's history of crappy toys, but I'll probably get it anyways, since it's a new mold.

 

I've got a Lockdown heading my way; expect a decent pictorial review of it in a week or so (if nobody else does one first).

 

SkySlalker looks cool as does ratchet and brawn not too sure on lock down looks kinda stringy

 

WOWZA, Brawn looks awesome. May just be the best deluxe of the line, there.

 

Where are these coming from? Are they out in retail yet?

 

I usually avoid deluxes, but Skystalker is tempting.

Lockdown's been on my "to-get" list since SDCC but Brawn is starting to look pretty good too.  

But what's up with that deluxe Ratchet? Is he more yellow than pale green? Why does his head look a little off? *scratches head*

 

Still digging the others, but Brawn doesn't seem as appealing to me anymore. I'll have to wait for more photos/a video review.
