So the proto we have seen IS the War for Cybertron (WFC?) Prime then!

If this is the new series as well... it's my dream come true. I have always wanted a The War Within cartoon that is dark and gritty, and this has the feel to it! Cybertron is just like in the G1 cartoon/comics, the first landscape shot is almost from the pages of the Ultimate Guide..

I have downloaded the trailer and taken some screencaps, sadly the quality of the video decreases after conversion in the middle of it.

I like how the faction symbols are glowing like the autobots are charged with energon. Simple but cool concept!

Prime still seems a bit too steroided out but I like his overall design and alt mode....

Prime looke like those robotech macross Cycles with those wheels on the back (if anybody remembers those).

Omega Supreme or guardian autobot just looks plain friggin awesome.

I like how cybertron looks too. Gives me a very updated "Tron" sorta feel not sure why tho.

Im hyped!

 

I'm hoping that the gameplay will be mindblowing fluid, much like Arkham Asylum was.

Oh my God! Awesome CG intro! Hope the game turns out well b/c it looks phenomenal for fans! And there is no doubt in my mind that the prototype toy is Optimus.

 

I tried, but I think it's not a real countdown... it resets to the "n" looking symbol everytime you reload the page. So, I don't think it's actually counting down to any set date, just "counting down" but only till it's reset...

 

I'll get excited when some in-game footage surfaces.

 

Yeah I agree. I just reloaded and the countdown was a higher number.

Edit: oops I can't count. Fixed it with the correct numbers, looks better now.

 

Kay. I'm thinking the new TF series is going to have to do with this too. I doubt they'd make toys just for a game.

But that Prime is really cool. And I'll praise the lawd if he gets that Energon Axe.

 

I bet I was right about them using the Prime and Megatron from this, for Universe. It both promotes the game, plus gives the next Universe line a Prime and Megatron.

No, it's a real countdown. I reloaded the page several times, and each time it showed those, then adjusted itself to the correct time.

 

I've reloaded the page a number of times and the numbers seem to be counting down properly to me. I'm getting (as of now) 04:16:44:00.

 

Oh hey, maybe you're right... I didn't notice it reset to some different number after a sec upon reloading, and yeah, the highest place values are the same even after a second reload.

So I guess we're back to decoding...
