Just got Dirt Boss and Nightbeat recently, and they're both amazing figures. I'm looking to get some more ROTF scouts soon, are there any really bad ones I should look out for, or some really good ones I should hunt for above all else?

Ransack and Ejector are the must-haves. Dune Runner is a personal favourite.

    Ransack and Ejector are MUSTS.

The others are pretty good, bar Scalpel, which I'd say is only for the completists.

EDIT: dangit, beaten to the punch.

All of the ROTF scouts are pretty great. The only really bad one is Scalpel.... if only because he is fragile, breaks easily, and is painfully inaccurate to his movie model.

I would definitely recommend Reverb (the motorcycle mold is great, and he is the best color scheme for it), Ransack, and Ejector. If you liked Dirt Boss and Nightbeat (my personal favorite), I think you'll enjoy these as well.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot about Dune Runner. He's a nice one too, very detailed and well-articulated!

Actually they are all pretty good. Knock-Out has a few problems but they are more motorcycle related than robot related.

Depth Charge has some large legs but they ain't too bad. He also has some great sculpting and intricate details.

Dune Runner is a nice transformer and is great with '07 Landmine but he has a bit of a proprtion problem in robot mode.

Ejector is Pure love but only because he is Ejector. The toaster, transformation and robot are nothing special but the whole is greater than the sum of his parts.

Scalpel is a must have for any on-screen completionist but in itself is a bit of a weak transformer. Watch out for some leg problems that have been reported (fragile legs) but I have not had trouble with mine.

Scalpel has his issues, but him and Ejector are the only scouts to have screen appearances in the movie, so he may be worth getting anyway.

But Rollbar and his godawful repaint are best avoided.

Rollbar has very good articulation, but it's just a boring figure. There's nothing appealing about it.

Get DuneRunner and his soon-to-be BeachComber repaint. The Knockout mold looks amazing next to G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra's Snake Eyes figure :D

I only have Dead End, Ransack, and DepthCharge, but they're al fantastic.

Watch out for Dune Runner though. Mine's arm broke off with the ball joint inside the first time I transformed him. :(

Definitely Ejector, he's way too unique and awesome to pass up.

Dune Runner or Beachcomber are great as well.

Though I don't have him, I'd recommend the upcoming "Red Baron" repaint of Ransack as well.

Although I personally don't have him, Ejector looks somewhat bland.

Ransack is pure win, great design that works great on the Scout scale, something that wouldn't work if upscaled to a Deluxe or even Voyager.

Scalpel is rather cool, I feel the way about him that most people probably feel about Ejector.

I want the Knock Out mold at some point, Depthcharge looks cool, I want him down the road to have a little bit of a BW reference complete in my ROTF collection.

How is the Dead End/Detour mold?

I like the motorcycle molds but have panel pop-off problems with mine. Cool figures any way. Dirt Boss is cool, as is Dune Runner, and Depthcharge is a great mold as well. My least favorite, and possibly my least favorite Transformer I own, is Scalpel. He's fragile, Innacurate, and unless you like to fiddle-f*** around with 8 tiny little legs that won't go where you want for 20 minutes, I'd say pass on this dud.

I don't get all the hate for Scalpel.

Other than his slightly iffy legs, I think he's a really unique and fun tf.

I love all of 'em excet Scalpel and Ejector. I don't understand all the Ejector love. Yeah the toaster mode is funny and new but everything else about it sucks ass.

True enough, it's not that there's any glaring flaws with Rollbar. The worst you can say is he doesn't really pull off the movie aesthetic. He's just a meh figure overall.

Echoing what others have said - watch out for Scalpel. Every single balljoint socket on my one was cracked straight out of the packaging, and it's not something you can easily check.

I am getting the "Baron" repaint of Ransack- which means I will have 4 copies of that mold. Yes, he is that great.

I bought Knockout and Reverb. great mold.

    Avoid Scalpel AT ALL COSTS.
He's weird, but you can buy weird paperweights (that are more fun and won't break) from Hot Topic or Spencer's.

I haven't bought many Scouts, but most are better than the Deluxe figures i have seen. I may buy a few more early next year.

Pretty much just look out for Scalpel's legs, and all the scouts seem like winners to me.
