...and it actually has a much better story than the movie itself (and I liked the movie)! Here's the ending (just skip over the gameplay, if you want): YouTube - Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen Part 19-B It's so much more satisfying than the movie, in a lot of ways.
Definately I like this ending a lot more, I can undertsnad why this could'nt be used as the cost of all that CGI would be huge. It gives us a broader perspective to the story, although the notablke differences make me wonder if this was written but Orcy and Kurtzman or if this was an adaptation made by someone else.
Actually I think these are from the PSP game. The hint would be the quicktime event that has the playstation buttons flash on screen. Yeah, I have to say, the monologue between Optimus and the Fallen, alone, felt a lot more epic then the fight scene we got in the film. The bit with the Autobots rebuilding the pyramid was kinda silly, but at the same time, I enjoyed the interaction between the characters. That's the kind of thing the movie really needed more of. I find it odd though that Starscream in the game actually sounds more like movie Megatron then Meg does. Though I do realize part of that is because it's Welker voiceing Meg in the game, but still, Screamer sounds odd with a deep voice.
Starscream should never sound manlier than Megatron. That is basically my only complaint with the games.
That was actually a better ending then both the movie AND the PS3/360 game. It also set up a perfect premise for the sequel, the Decepticons trying to activate their army to take over the earth the old fashioned way. No Mcguffins or magic cubes, just a good old fashioned invasion.
It's comforting to know that at least the game programmers for the PS2/Wii versions gave us a better ending than the ones in the 360/PS3 versions. And the movie itself.
This is the first I've heard the voice acting in the game. I LOVE Megatron and Fallen's voices here. I read somewhere that James Arnold Taylor actually recorded the lines for the movie and got replaced near the finish line by Tony Todd. Dunno which voice I prefer, but I gotta admit Taylor's voice is pretty darn cool. Pity that Cullen has more lines in the game than the movie. But...........man. What's going on with Starscream's voice? When he started talking I thought Megatron was talking. There's so much processing, he sounds like Hugo Weaving in TF1 with all that heavy processing. Could be the first time that Megatron has sounded more feminine than Starscream. Was that even Charles Adler?
nice , and ya it does make for a better ending, i did miss the give me me your face line XD and i like the invasion force found ending as a setup for TF3
I like that ending. I also liked the movie's ending, but the little interactions were nice. Some closure to the Decepticons over a "I'll get you next time, Gadget" of the movie is cool, too. But man, those graphics are hurtin'. I thought the 360 had sub-par graphics, but those...
It was a good improvment over the movie - character and story wise. Complaints? *Lower the processing on the voices, particularly Prime, Ironhide, Starscream, The Fallen, and Bumblebee *Devastator showed up to get killed... again. Needs a bigger role. *NO transforming in bot mode. PERIOD. *Where are Ratchet, Long Haul, Breakaway, and Grindor? *Sam and Mikeala are mentioned at all? *How about Sideswipe? Or even Arcee. Just one of her. Compliments? *Great story *Fun characterization *Satisfying ending *No Wheelie, the Twins, Simmons, and especially LEO.
I thought it was cool how Optimus' team thing in the Techy-Place was composed of him, a rough design of Jolt, a slightly altered Springer, and an unknown loser.
We both bad. =p I honestly thought that was on the PSP. Man, are the PS2's graphics really that dated already?
