reprolabels already has an original megazord set. but its very expensive. like over $40 expensive. no way in hell would I pay that for stickers
Not that this affects you, but I was at an Austin Wal-Mart earlier, and I had the customer service employee check the stock using the UPC. No location within 30 miles had any in stock. Oh, and Hook 'em!
I really hope these don't get scalped. I've waited a long time to get this, but I'm not gonna pay an absurdly high price for it.
if anyone pays attention to the ones on ebay, then its sad to say but I really do think they will be scalped. not to mention what the original goes for. I dont look forward to it either but being toy collectors we kinda have to expect it when they do something like this. I bet the same thing will happen with a few other things as well
It's the main line, they'll be plenty of these to go around in a couple months. The main line of PR toys are always very easy to get, but since these will have older people buying out of nostalgia, the holidays might be a little more difficult.
I don't think the scalping will last too much longer once these hit everywhere. Look how fast the 4" figures hit.
Okay, from what I can surmise of the video review... I honestly believe this MAY just be a new mold... or a heavy retool. As much as I want to get it... I can't justify 25$ on that much plastic and so little articulation.
Scalping is still pretty bad here. I saw a neckbeard clean out EVERY new MMPR item off the shelf this morning at Walmart. About 12-15 basic rangers, the three megazords that were out, and what was left of the dino cycles. There was no endcap filled with them; they were shoved into the aisle with the RPM stuff so there wasn't much out, but one fat dude got them all.
Well, my area has never been too heavily hit with scalpers - I've seen piles of the ROTF Ice Cream Twins when no one could find them elsewhere, for example. Still, I'm keeping a close eye on the MMPR shelves...
Same here. All I have seen are 3 Goldars. Oddly enough, the Super Legends chase figures, the RPM Gold Ranger, and the RPM Silver Ranger are always left untouched. I just want one of each dammit. But no, scalpers are greedy.
this are a isnt bad with scalpers either. whe're just bad for actually gettign the items on the shelves whatsoever ive still not seen a single new RPM toy except for those guardian figures and the TRAX center
Not sure if this has been seen or reported on or anything (I mean I know the item itself has, but not sure if at retail or if here at retail), but the Target I work at (in Brea, CA) has the "deluxe Dragon Dagger" out for sale now. There was another item but I can't remember what it was, will have to give it a look when I go in tomorrow morning.
Maybe you should buy it and sell it here or on eBay (bidding auction)? I'm sure someone will bite on it. Right now there is only 1 up on eBay and the guy is trying to scalp it as a BuyItNow for $50, as well as every other 2010 MMPR toy. $150 for the Megazord??!! He can kiss my ass. If these toys get scalped and are hard for everyone to find, then maybe we should organize a group here between us all to buy the toys for each other who cannot find them in their areas. I for one know by upcoming case assortments, the rare figures will be Alpha & Zordon, the Putties, and the Yellow Ranger. After this first assortment, Alpha and Zordon will no longer be shipped. *I think* The Putties and Yellow Ranger go away after the second assortment, but only the Yellow Ranger will return again with a silver Dino Flyer. Meanwhile, stupid statuesque Goldar will be in all future assortments, even the one with the Silver Dino Flyers! He will shelf warm like a motherfucker.
im afraid for the Morpher if its ever released. but sadly I will buy those as show peices but still hunt for the originals
9 inches...... im sorry Bandai is really disappointing me I was pretty excited for this line but this is not what I had hoped. I know its all for kids but c'mon throw the collectors atleast one bone (hopefully that will be the one and only original morpher just like it was in 93)
I do get paid tomorrow, was gonna pick up a RoC Cobra Commander, but depending on what our stock of MMPR is looking like (or I may check out..Wal Mart), I may bite on that stuff instead.
Did you spot those? If so, what are their sounds/lights? Does the Dragon Dagger do the "summon" sound?
