I've been seeing more and more of these darker varients all over the place. There where atleast 6-7 in my Walmart, a few in Kohls, and I also found a bunch in Target. Has anyone else been seeing these turn up more often?

Old news. It's a running change that was made after the May 30th release. The only places you should even be seeing lighter Breakaways anymore are places that have old stock.

Same thing goes for the Gun Metal Sideways as well.

 

The only place I see Breakaway IS Kohl's. So, there's a few over there.

 

They started shipping more darker variants starting with revisions of the Wave 5 cases.

 

So it's, uh, not rare anymore?   aww

 

so this would mean the light variant will be the relatively rarer one when all is said and done?

 

I saw one at the Target the other day it was wierd since Thrust outnumbered the original.

 

The lighter one was always going to be the rarer of the two because the darker one was the running change and was pretty much there on day one.

 

I like the darker one anyway.
