Hey welcome to the forum! I'm backing you on this one when UltraMagnus(from Animated) came out I bought all three of them from a local Target leaving the shelves bare, One for a Onslaught repaint, one for display and the other for a Roadbuster repaint/kitbash. I didnt brag about it here the same way you did,but congrats on your find! I personally will be skipping out on this one completely I'm a movie not Universe completist and I'm not spending 60$ on a Screamer repaint. I will buy probably at least 6 of Leader Screamer for my seeker group though (lil hypocritcal on my part  )

On a second note I have a lil vent for here. I recently went to the Nrth Point Target to see If there were any Bruticus's left on clearance I searched up and down, finally spot his box on the back aisle rush over and grab it and immediately notice someone swapped him for a complete Superion set loose, no twist ties, just floating around in his box. I'm shocked and very happy, I never bought Superion because he was overpriced (in my mind) So I ended up with both sets after all for under 20$!!! All because some doucher swapped the figures out for a return. So thanks if you are reading this and quite trying to rip off retail shops...oh and can I have the instruction book that should have been in there? Dont really need it but it would have been nice  

 

Riverstone Pkwy Walmart near Canton off exit 20 on 575, had at least 3 MP Skywarps early this morning. Also, Kmart in Hiram has like 6 Human Alliance Skids, but I think he is becoming more common. Also, Thanks for everybody that pm'd me about the wave 10 DCU I finally completed my set, YAY.

 

If anybody wants me to pick them up a mp skywarp, i am in a little hick town where i am the only tf collector  pm me with paypay ready if you would like.....i jst bought me one

 

What would you have me do? I needed 2 for me, and one for my friend. He would have gone to get it himself, but I was already there and could save him the gas.

I wasn't trying to brag, as you can see from my first post, I was trying to be helpful. Hypothetically if someone else had posted that Skywarp was not at those stores before I did, then I would have been saved a trip or I could have tried some other stores. So yes, I am kinda new to the hunting for Hi-Valued Formers thing, but my intentions were all good. I have certanly learned when to open my mouth and when to just keep it shut.

I was very excited though, I have about 90 transformers now, and this is the second one that has just made my life XD.

 

Just got back from Dallas Hwy Walmart in West Cobb(my local WM) and they had the new Blowpipe/Sideways 2pk about 20 of them. Also, they had at least 12 MP Skywarps. Also, since everybody seems pissed tonight, I thought I would share somthing too. While I was at my WM I always give the TF section a walk through and I saw a HA Skids and it did not look right. Upon further inspection, somebody had taken the HA Skids and Replaced it with a deluxe version and returned it to the store. I am just about sick of seeing stuff like this, ALready this year I have seen leader megs and leader prime both returned to walmarts in my area with the 2007 movie toys in the ROTF boxes. I have also seen Voyger class Ironhide, Starscream, and a Ratchet with the 2007 movie toys in the new boxes and each time its a different WM. Oh wait the Starscream was a deep space starscream because I could not figure out what I was looking at. Everytime I find somthing like that I turn it in, but it probably gets reshelved. I HOPE its not somebody on this board. I understand these toys cost alot but Imagine if you were a kid or if you have a kid and they get one of these reboxed/worn out toys as a gift. A lot of kids might not be able to tell its an old toy, but I know a lot of them would. Anyways, I just felt like getting that off my Chest, HAPPY HUNTING

 

I found 8x MP Skywarp at a Wal-Mart in the northeast quadrant of the Atlanta GMA. Five of the figures are in the toy aisle scattered around the other TFs, two are in the clearance aisle and the last one I hid. I'm not getting this figure, since I already have the Takara version, but I figured I should give at least one copy a chance of avoiding scalpers. PM me for store location and the location of the one I tucked away.

As far as avoiding scalpers, what about setting up a "Georgia TF Fans" (or whatever title) private Social Group? Posters we know and trust could openly post sightings for each other without having to worry about lurking scalpers and without sending PMs around.

EDIT - And the same Wal-Mart has several of the Blowpipe/Sideways set, if anyone cares about those.

 

That sounds like a good idea scantron. I think that skywarp is headed for the clearance Isle as I must have seen at least 30-40 at different locations today.

I think most collectors probably already bought the takara skywarp and thundercracker and without the promise of a hasbro thundercracker most people will pass.

 

sooooo, I saw like 50 swywarps at a few locations in the northwest.... haha...Why could they have done this with starscream.....$20 MP SKYWARPS HERE I COME

Hey folks, 6 or so Skywarps spotted at the Big Chicken Wal-Mart. They goofed on the price and I got mine for $30!

Sorry this is late... If anyone is still looking for Perceptor or the Insecticons, I saw a least 3 sets of each in the NorthPoint TRU Late Sunday afternoon.

And of course they still had the 25th anniversary primes there for $70... those things just are not moving.

Someone may have posted this, but Costco has Devastator for $69.

 

Devastator is going to have to hit 40 for me to even consider it at this point but good info!

Found 3x MP Skywarp at the Chamblee Wal-Mart.

 

Both Milledgeville WM and Macon (eisenhower pkwy) WM have the Super Tuner sets.

Nothing else new, much less MP Skywarps.

 

After convincing the manager, it did! One of the employees put it on the wrong shelf with all of the other transformers on sale for $35, voyagers etc.

 

Thanks to Optimatron's heads-up on MP Skywarp, I found one.

But since there were TWENTY of them on the shelves, I decided to not buy one just yet. I can't spring $60 right now as I had to buy two new tires for my car and my wife needs two for her car as well. (Danged priorities, you know.)

For any of you collecting the new Marvel Universe figures, I believe I have found what appears to be a rare Spider-Man variant. I'll try to get pics up sometime in the next week, but it's packaged differently and the paint apps are dramatically different from the same figure with the same UPC. I don't collect superhero figs anymore but I bought it just because it looked so different from every single Spidey figure I've seen with the same UPC.

Also wanted to give a heads-up that there are Autobot and Decepticon sleep pants for adults finally. I saw them at two different Walmarts last night.

I haven't kept up w/ news in the last month, so these might have been sighted already. They sell for $12.

Also at WMT I found a TFA Bumblebee cap with a velcro adjustable strap in the men's section, but it's a smaller cap and is probably for kids. It sells for $7.50.

And there are also Movie Prime and Bumblebee ski caps w/gloves. And there's also a Bumblebee ski mask which I have to say is pretty danged awesome. I took pics which I'll also try to get online soon. There are also ski masks in the same style for Batman and Spider-Man and I want all of them.

I only saw 2 of the B'bee ski masks and didn't see a Prime one at all, and that's the one I'd rather have if they made one.

And for you Marvel/TF Crossover collectors -- have you seen the special 2-pk w/ Spidey and Iron Man as aerial vehicles *and* as a combiner?

It's way overpriced but I think I'm gonna get one after they're clearanced.

I bought the new Cap'n America Humvee Marvel/TF last week and absolutely love it. I'm hoping one of our resident Radicons will be inspired to make a Prime custom out of it.

And to Scantron -- that's a great idea about setting up a GA Sightings social group. But you have to be a "paid" TFW member to create such a group.
