    I gotta say, it was weird seeing Prime in that commercial. He seemed so out of place.

    Still, Prime and the Mythbusters back-to-back = Epic Win

    You could also view it as a tie-in to ILM and the advancements in visual effects. That would work well within the scope of the network.

    That's what I was thinking. The advancements in CGI tech is shown in the TF movies, and that fits in well with Discovery.

    Plus, Hasbro and Discovery are gonna be making a TV station, so why not.

    Yeah, I kind of assumed it had more to do with the Hasbro-Discovery joint venture than just some commentary on how cool CGI is nowadays.

    I think this is just their way of drawing in the younger crowd by using something they are into big time now ... I don't like the commercial.
