More kibble than I was expecting based on what was said after Botcon about him. But still MUCH MUCH better than that disaster called Jetfire.

Hmm...I was hoping he'd be thinner. Don't get me wrong, realistically he looks good. Still, I doubt I'll be willing to spend precious money on him...yet.

Nevertheless, if I was as affluent as all you guys here, BOUGHT ON SIGHT!

I guess I can see your point. I thought the animated alt modes were exaggerated to fit the appearance of their robot modes but it could well be for the same reasons that Cybertron and specifically Energon bother me; just with a different twist on things.

More of the same old stale crap that has been clogging the shelves for the past 3 or 4 years. Only super-sized this time. Wooptee-Doo!!!

What a waste! They could have used that leader slot for something good that we haven't already seen before.

You guys are gonna be bored with this piece of shit within 10 minutes. Transform him once or twice & then off to ebay he goes. $40+ down the drain.

I guess it's fine to leave a comment about how you don't like it, but often, one has to retain civility, and use constructive and polite language. WE can voice our comments so long as we respect others' opinions. (And not disparage it with insults, like many users)

do you need some tissues or something?

and i'm quite certain that we haven't seen a movie leader class starscream.

and last time i checked i'm not 10 years old, my attention span doesn't last 10 minutes. i still look and fiddle around with rotf leader prime, starscream is certainly as good or better than him.

and let me guess.. G1 is your favorite era of transformers.. it's mine to.. but if we add your logic to G1 and their figures.. none of us would own any classic/universe or G1 figures.. after all, the classics and universe figures are just updates of the originals.. just like leader starscream is an updated larger figure.

it always seems like there's always one or a few dudes on each transformers forum that never likes anything.. i always wonder.. if you don't like anything.. why not just stop collecting instead of saying something that pretty much everyone already assumes you'll say.

i don't mean to sound like a dick or put you down or anything i'm just saying, why follow transformers anymore if you haven't liked anything for the past 4 years.. I'm also going to assume that you liked the unicron trilogy.. how could you rather watch energon and play around with those figures rather than the movies.. where the robots look real and play around with the figures that (for the most part) are far superior and much more interesting.

anyways, back to the topic at hand..

sure the body of the jet hangs a tad bit lower than a real F22.. but other than that.. it's by far the most accurate movie starscream we have ever seen.

    and finally there's no tan.

I'm extremely excited for this figure, starscream has always been my favorite character, and the F22 has been my favorite jet for a while. i would definitely rather deal with the lowered undercarriage and get a more accurate robot than the other way around.

i mean.. the features are very awesome, the articulation looks great, there aren't any pieces sticking out of the jet mode, he's not tan, and his size will definitely fit in better with the rest of the line (i hated that my starscream, in both modes, was smaller than human alliance bumblebee & sideswipe)

i really really don't mind the undercarriage, the way i'll display him i'll probably never see it. but the only thing i wish was different are the tattoos, i wish they were a bit more accurate with a few more white designs with the F22 markings under all of that. but hey.. that's not a big deal.

i certainly hope he comes out sooner than we think, and i certainly hope that there are some robot mode photos with some other rotf figures for scale.

Fun fact: I've transformed Movie and Animated toys many and many times, yet I'm still to take out of the box many Universe figures that I bought since I repacked 'em, which means that it was all around 100$ downt he drain.

    Translating: You know shit, bro.

I don't like the movies toys toys very much I don't find them fun to transform and I'm not a fan of the movie aesthetic but I do have to say holy f**k Leader Starscream looks awesome!!!

I wouldn't mind picking him at all!

And I don't get the hate over the kibble...

Jetfire is A LOT WORSE and don't get me started on Megatron, I'm sorry but he just plain sucks!

Prime is a desent figure but I still prefer the original 2007 one...

Starscream is so far the only ROTF leader figure I really like!

When was the last decent jet Leader Transformer, then? Do Starscreams clog the shelves where you are? As I remember correctly he's a pretty well-loved character and more than a few peoples' personal favourite. Myself included. I would not dismiss a mould that has been requested since TF1 as a waste. For once it seems that Hasbro are catering to the collectors.

Griping about who makesit into the Leader-class price point is something that we see far too often. Would you have prefered Blackout/Grindor? I must tell you then that I only picked up Blackout a year ago when he was "clogging the shelves" at The Entertainer store nearest me and about half price.

"This piece of shit" seems to meet the approval of more than a handful of people on this board. I can only speak for myself when I say that transforming him will be a pleasure that I have long awaited. I will savour each twist, each limb repositioning, each connection point. I have a spot in mind for him and he will see great action in my future comics on here. (I have already considered delaying "Thy Kingdom Come" so that I can have this Starscream and not the Voyager-class version as the star of the show. A poster before you mentioned that she/he was impressed that the figure we had seen in robot mode before can actually transform as well as this. I somehow doubt that he will boring.

    Hahahaha! Too true.

As I recall, the Voyager has hands sticking out of the back. Hold on, let me check... Yep, bloody big hands. Additionally, the Voyager's kibble exists but is mostly covered by his robot-mode backpack. Out of sight, out of mind.

Anguirus is very hard to disagree with on this.

My first thought on seeing the underside kibble was that it resembled that of the Breakaway/Thrust mould. This, in my opinion, is no bad thing. We should all remember that his arms and legs need to go somewhere.

Anybody arguing that Voyager is beeter than Leader needs to see that!

Oh I understand what your talking about, I was hoping my comment wasn't coming out rudely, I might have failed at that haha. I was merely just asking a question hoping to get an answer and wasn't meaning for it to be rude or to blast people on there comments, I was just wondering why you know?.

Anyways about the Kibble on Leader SS, it really isn't that bad, I mean if you look at how far Hasbro has come with building jet-formers this really is more advanced then what we have seen. Sure its not as compact as the voyager or isn't fully accurate to the real jet but maybe they just don't have that advanced tech yet to make it that way yet. The Movie verse transformers are very complex so I can see why it is hard for them to try and make it look completely accurate. I'm sure if we give them another few years we will probably see a Masterpiece Movie SS. For now all I know is that I going to pick him up as soon as I see him! Hope Peaugh gets him first though looking forward to another vid haha. (hope that came out right not trying to dis anyone haha)

I don't mind the kibble. I actually really like movie starscream's design. You can't really mix him up with anyone else in the movies.

I kind of want the version of him sans-tattoos because I'd prefer a 'cleaner' looking alt mode....I wonder if they'll release that version afterword as a 'repaint' :S

from what i understand, you're pretty much guarenteed to be able to take his tats straight off with a smidge of solvent on a soft cloth.
