That is a proper headsculpt, and it's totally bought when I find one. Hopefully this one will actually show up on store shelves, because I never did find the Universe Legends one.

After seeing the robot mode for Beachcomber and since I don't own Dunerunner this is a must buy for the movie 2 line.

i wonder if I can glue a flower to the end of each gun.
To me the head is a great movie sculpt for Beachcomber, it's as close as movie primes was to the G1.

I would probably buy Beachcomber but those hands and feet are pathetic.

His legs are back to front!

Although, I think I kind of like them that way around...

A Buggyman repaint would work for this mold. Do it Hasbro!

Nice one, but why does Beachcomber have a grinning frog sitting on top of his neck?

    (now you can't un-see it. :ev:  )

You know, I see where you're coming from, but when I look at this headsculpt I see Jerry Garcia:

And that's why I have to respectfully disagree with the folks saying that this head-sculpt doesn't fit Beachcomber. I think it fits him very well. My theory is that Hasbro KNEW full well that they would repaint this as Beachcomber.... but rather than simply ape the G1 head design (booooring.... and already done, with Legends Beachcomber) they chose to cue off his G1 personality instead and model him after a beloved Hippie icon.

I think the head fits a movie-verse vision of Beachcomber. That is to say what G1 Beachcomber would look like with humanoid facial features obfuscated and looking alternately like a frog's head or a rolled-up pillbug.

Beachcomber is now the type of hippie who's packing heat? I like this idea.

"Buh-bah-boo, I'm gonna blast your face off, brother."
