That's always good. Good sales means more stuff to choose from in the future.

 

feel-good fantasy/sci-fi always does well in economic meltdown.

it's great news though - if TFs are their most profitable line hasbro will keep pumping them out and we can keep buying them

Horay! I even cut back on the amount of ROTF toys I purchased compared to the amount of TF1 toys I have.

 

That's practically what I was going to say.  

And that's my excuse for buying TFs.

Next time someone gives you shit for buying TFs you can now tell them they'd probably have lost their job and be living on the streets if not for your collecting keeping the country going.  

 

Keep buying Transformers!   If anyone asks, tell them that we're helping the economy!  

 

I think a lot of people want to fall back on something familiar during these difficult times of recession.

 

Hum, so am I still evil because I haven't purchased any Transformers toys lately or am I not evil because I was still pumping money into Hasbro in the form of their GI Joe and Marvel lines?

Perhaps a good thing for action figures overall though if there is the shift back to parents buying action figures and kids playing with them. Seemed like for the longest time you would hear the doom and gloom about how video games were going to kill the action figure, but now they seem to be coming back. Not that video games are bad but kids still need to go out into the backyard some and battle it out between good and evil with their friends.

Then again it could be a bad thing because it's just another excuse to have nothing but movie toys on the shelves. So win a big one because kids are playing with toys but looks like I'll remain a loser on one of Hasbro's brands.

 

Well, its still kinda cool knowing that while most other folks on Mother Earth are experiencing job & monetary losses, some others are blessed working out profits that makes bigger cars & houses comes-a-knocking.  

 

Sounds like Hasbro should reward all it's fans by finally releasing the Classics, Voyager, Black Prime!
