Having to sale off 2/3 of my collection when I was out of work, so I had to sell of my almost complete, RID BW BM, and Altinators, and I had, a complete Computron, Bruticus, Minasaur and Superion, bad time in my life I still have yet to rebiuld it back to that point.

Energon is much better than Classics.

Loads of cool Basics - Terrorcons, Omni-cons, Combiners
    Omega Supreme/Sentinel
    Rodimus/Checkpoint
    Starscream

I have a lot more Energon TF's than Classics.

Regret not buying Machine Gun Robo that was inspiration for Actionmaster Treadshot and oversized KO Machine Wars Thundercracker when I saw them on Ebay. I've gotten other rare KO's like grey Quake, oversized Robotmasters and Bruticus but I don't know why I let them get away and they're the only ones I've only seen once on Ebay.

Regret that Marvel TF's and Dreamwave were discontinued.

appreciate the offer mate, but shipping the fat bastard trans-atlantic would make him financially.. uuh.. challenging ;)

besides i use that to guilt trip my poor old mother into babysitting my son periodically. if i buy a new one she'll rumble my scheme!

Spending $300+ on an AFA'd BW Metals Ravage.
When I needed that money back, I tried to sell it at least 5 times on eBay. I ended up racking up about what I paid for it in eBay listing charges.
I also regret skipping the Target Exclusive Scout Gunbarrel that I saw once on eBay; I could've gotten it for $15. Who knows how much it'll be worth someday, now that we know it'll never be released...

for me, buying something that is a bit substandard in quality, e.g. the paintjob, like the "aerial rivals" 5-pack, then finding a better quality set in another store.

    -Selling my minty G1 Sunstreaker.
-Sending Mirage's accessories with Sunstreaker accidentally, and not finding the mistake until over a year later when I no longer had the buyer's info.
-Two Alternator Swerves in Tuesday Morning for $11 apiece. Guess who passed. :p

Various minor regrets, but the one that stands out is missing out on Botcon 1995 when it was in my home town! I hadn't "rediscovered" Transformers and the fandom until a year later, but I'm sure I would have checked out the convention if I knew it was going on.

Well, up until recently I was a pretty casual fan - TFs were just something cool I loved.
It was the news of the live action film that got me more involved - which means I am pretty naive to many of the things most of you take for granted.
My one regret now is allowing our, my brother and I, original G1 toys to be 'disposed of'.
We had two sets of Protectobots, one always combined to save time in battles, two Primes (one with a Black Trailer I recall), most of the seekers, some smaller bots - one of which was a small, unidentified, white car I always treasured for some reason, a few throttlebots and some of the target masters.
We also had some of the ones where they snapped together, not combiners, something else.

Not buying the Classics mini-con Dinobots and Mirage.

Also, being dumb and somehow missing the BW 10th anniversary despite the appeal of DINOSAURS.
