i just started collecting TF this year and still reading the history and all it doesnt bother me much. i'm just glad i have them in some form or way. you can always buy some misb g1 ones or japanese for that matter.

 

I've seen Hoist/Mixmaster and Megs/soundwave 3 pack pretty easily at multiple TRU's...didn't think they were hard to find

 

well then i got scalpers in my TRU's . lol i'm still thinking hard on the hoist pack. maybe i can use the TRU coupon on it

 

I know it is kinda far but they had them at TRU in Huntington Beach (405 exit Goldenwest)...sorry I didn't really report it but thought they were out at most

 

I just got back from the Fullerton TRU on Harbor, and they had 3 Hoist/Mixmasters (I picked up 1), and they have an assload of the Nemesis 3 pack.

Don't know if this is true, but someone said that the 34.99 Mixmaster on TRU.com supposedly is the Hoist/Mixmaster TRU exclusive set.

 

That would make some sense, I keep seeing that and it puzzles me.

 

Walmart in Richmond (Hilltop Mall) has Gears, Thrust, Stalker Scorponok and The Fury of Fearswoop 3-Pack.

 

Arroyo Grande Walmart: Just about everything except HA Skids still. A few Thrust (movie Decepticon symbol variant) and quite a few Gears.

AG K-mart: 1x Devastator and 2x Grey Animated Shockwave.

BTW, if anyone is interested, I still 1 extra of both the reissue Insecticons and Perceptor that I will sell and ship for exact cost (meaning no markup). If noone is interested, these are going back to the store on Monday.

 

Just got back from Santa Ana Walmart, and they had a shit load of shit! At least 6 of HA Skids & Bumblebee, Deluxe Thrust, Jolt, Gears, Ravage, Swerve, Arcee. A couple of Deluxe Dead End, Blazamaster. There's more that I can't think of, but they're stocked.

 

The other day I posted I saw about 3 Bruticus at the South St. Cerritos TARGET store. Today I saw about six on a endcap next to the bikes. Still $14.99.

on another note i got my hands on the ROTF blu ray today and i'm kinda disappointed. feature wise that is, no BD-live this time. i actually liked the bd-live features from the first one with info and the health bars. wonder why not include it in this one. this movie had so many thing going on at once i think it would have been helpful. just my opinion.

 

Richmond Target did not have anything new really. They did have the Bruticus Maximus set on clearance for $28 something though ....

A friend bought it for me. He said from a swapmeet near the city of Gardena. Swapmeets never obey street date release.

 

Swapmeets tend to also carry bootlegs (albeit really damn good looking ones).
