I used to hate movie starscream, but the fat fecker is growing on me - to the point that I'm pretty much decided on making him the first ROTF leader class i pick up (god knows, i have enough Primes already)

I think the the voyager/legends class toys somehow emphasized Starscream's already wonky shape, making the action-figure a hate-figure and generally convincing everybody starscream looks more rubbish than he really did.

Obviously he still looks silly, but in a cool way.

i've got my fingers crossed for a voyager-sized minicon combiner. if devestator was a prototype it even explains why he was so crap!

Bit confused by the 'combined' in the sentence, but I think it's just a mistake, certainly the protoforms had no transformation. Also, I think that Silverado Soundwave painting is a lot more imposing than the concept art that's been floating around since last year and makes me warmer to the notion of him taking an Earth mode.

..and this Leader SS looks like a slightly larger version of the Voyager. Everyone saying it looks so much better has me thinking I've been taking crazy pills.

 

"the Plague" is one of the prototype decepticons at the end of RoTF.

 

I thought Hasbro said at one of the 'cons it'd likely be a '10 Store Exclusive?

i passed on the first movie SS because it looked awful but almost got ROTF voyager..until i heard about the leader class version...

well worth the wait!!!

 

I have the dvd and all the time they were holding and fiddling around with the prototype Leader Starscream I just wanted it, it looked really cool I can't wait till it comes out.

 

hmmm.... under the plauge it says "no vehicle form only combined robot form.

so we know that he(or she) is a combiner.

 

Hmm. Does he *have* to be this shade of blue, or is that just pre-production?

 

That's just a pre-production thing.
All transformer figures(And probably most toys.) look like that when they start out as prototypes.
