Realistically speaking, judging from FP's other projects, and the unrelated Knight Morpher Commander as a jumping point, somewhere in the $60-80 range is what I'm ballparking.

    Ooooh...Nice.

Too bad I'll probably never be able to get it. Most likely due to not having enough money to afford it when it's out, and then it being sold out when I do.

NOT bigger than a Voyager I hope!
Also, head looks a little bit to small.
But besides that... it's the most beutiful thing I have ever seen!
Alright, Hasbro give me the bomb!

preordered as soon as it's available, awesome looking triple changer, the amount of legal whatnot in this thread is very humorous, i agree with venksta about how much more negative attitudes there are in this thread compared to i-ko's mini prime

I certainly hope so. That's their toy that I'm looking forward to the most. I loves me some combiners.

This thing is a work of art. Definitely gonna buy it. I'm a little worried how the bot mode is gonna look...the proportions could be better, but you can't blame them, this thing must have been a nightmare to design and they had to compromise somewhere.

Here's a photoshop I did (head is increased 10%, legs a bit long longer, torso a bit shorter)

I think just chopping that abdomen block out completely would vastly improve the proportions of 'bot mode.

Whatever, we'll see how the actual toy turns out. And I've bought official product with more proportion issues than this. It's just a minor niggle on a pretty sweet design.

I think that these creations have been a great way to create further excitement to Hasbros' IP. I am the owner of all three "commanders" and the G3 Trailer and the CJ add on kit. I find myself thankful that someone is stepping up to make more of the things die hard collectors want. I personally see it as a win/win for HasTak to further help promote their brand and add excitement.

That is a sweet design. I just hope Hasbro doesn't shut them down. Maby it will even inspire them to make an official Springer figure.

Point 1: Sculpt (as closely as possible) the cartoon model of the original head. Don't limit yourselves.
Point 2: Although I was expecting a different style blade (katana style, as opposed to Chinese (large) blade), I still like the sword. Either chrome it or paint it silver.
Point 3: For an armored helicopter of that size, you make have to make them slightly longer.

Looking forward to the end result.

    Hell no.

Then they'd be limited by what hasbro's limited by: the whims of Target, Walmart, TRU, and whatever other markets want.

Fansproject caters to a select subset of fans: those that could care less about safety, price, or Michael Bay.

    Honda builds cars for everyone.

    Lotus builds cars for drivers.

    Same difference.

eh... I'll wait until Hasbro comes back with Universe 3.0 and give us their very own original mold of Springer.

Or, more likely, ignore, in favor of a movie repaint.

    Go FP!
