mine are going to opened to be displayed next to the ehobby insecticons and so the box condition is not a factor to me...to MISB collectors i could see it being a factor...

everything i have ever ordered from TRU...soundwave, the whirl/bludgeon combo and the blackout/scorponok combo all arrived in pristine shape.

walmart on the other hand sucks in shipping stuff....

 

I am tired of making trips to the store finding nothing, so I just ordered both from the TRU website.

These are apparently in short supply on the site. Punching in 999 for each in my cart reveals that there are 145 Perceptors and a 134 Insecticons left. Get em fast!!

I'm debating if I want to get them off the site or wait for them to show up in the local store... seeing that low number available makes me concerned they will stock/vanish at the store.

I've NEVER even seen a single TRU G1 on the fuckin shelves in my area. I suspect there are way too many collectors, casual fans, and of course the fuckin scalpers!

Went ahead and ordered mine. Tired of driving all the way to TRU for nothing...now that I've ordered them online, they'll be in the store on Tuesday...but whatever, no more driving for a bit.

That explains it as all I am trying to do is order the 2 pieces, which is only $70

Honestly I'm not sure if I want to get them or not right now. If I do decide to get them I won't be able to unless they are still up or restocked Friday. Given the amount they have posted earlier I will probably have to start calling TRU. It would be a lot cheaper for me to get them online though since the closest one to me is 100 miles.

Edit: It seems that there are more than what was posted earlier. There are 194 Perceptors and 193 Insecticons.

 

I was so excited to see a listing for them online, I didn't read the whole post so I missed the code. I ordered 3 insecticon sets, and paid full price. Did get free shipping though.
