Season 3 Episode 22: Only Human

60/100: COOOOOOOOOOBRA!!!! In other news, this episode was fun but I think it would have been better as a two parter since the pacing was so fast.


Comments:

-We begin this episode with what else? Explosions!

-Springer has such an odd helicopter mode, it's more Cybetronian then anything else.

-I HATE THESE ACCENTS SO MUCH!

-Is that Candle Jack as S-*get's taken away*

-*free's himself from you know who* Oh this is the human episode.

-And there's the title name in the episode..I hate it when they do that.

-WHAT? Snake is STARSCREAM! That's quite a twist.

-EVERYONE BUT ARCEE LOOK THE SAME!

-That is some oddly specific clothing you got there.

-Ha, Cultists.

-Ha, Springer is riding himself.

-Yay! Explosions!

-Ha! Arcee riding a motorcycle.

-This girl wants Rodimus so damn badly. It's kinda funny.

-The guards faces just look...odd.

-How the hell are they going to finish this episode in 5 minutes?

-Ultra Magnus will always be an old guy, even more so then Animated Ratchet.

-You know I gotta say this episode has been going FAR to fast for my liking.

-OH MAN! It's not Starscream, it's Cobra Commander. WHAT A TWIST!!!

 

I love that they mention terrorists in that episode.

They wouldn't be able to say that on a kids' show nowadays!  

 

Springer does indeed has a Cybertronian helicopter mode, just like his toy.

The buildings were strangely very futuristic in this episode.

The four fantastic Autobots as humans look very familar.

Chris Latta voices Cobra Commander in the G.I. Joe cartoons with a traditional Starscream voice too. Not knowing that, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was Starscream all along (its not really a twist though). Its not the last time Latta voices a character in transformers with Starscream's voice but its not for a while yet.

I'm glad you noticed Arcee rides a motorbike. I just got the connection yesterday when i re-watched the episode.

Rodimus gets laid. Totally.

Did you notice Rodimus (well, his body) turned into Hot Rod's vehicle mode for one scene then back to Rodimus Prime's vehicle mode the next? And where was the matrix all this time? Wouldn't the thugs have found it when they opened up his chest compartment?

Latta did indeed get the best lines "They just don't make terrorists like they used to! COBRA!!" has been a classic line from G1 for the last twenty plus years.

No Cons at all!

 

This is my new favorite expression.

Also if he doesn't want to do the Japanese series I will. I have only seen Zone and a few episodes of Headmasters. Although those Headmasters episodes were several years ago and I wasn't really paying attention at the time.

 

Lucky they were able to find clothing with their bot color schemes

Hey, some new reviews since I last checked this topic (about a month ago.) Nice to see Meta is still going. Would be cool to see someone do HM next.

I keep forgetting about Johnboys thread. Have to read that.

 

WOW... I just read entire review until BOT review in a day..at my office! And still continue today for 2nd day.wuuhuu..

 

Maybe headmasters can be reviewed as a group with deadlines each week. Just a thought
