Do want Electrostatic Soundwave. Also, Freeway Jazz is itching to be Radiconned into a Decepticon - possibly Barricade, or one of the Stunticons.

 

I'll get Soundwave for Ratbat. Jazz I'm not sure of. I already have him, but I do kinda like the movie style paint job.

Prefer Jazz in his regular colors, but liking the Ratbat/Soundwave combo, didn't get the 1st one, so this is a good chance to pick this one up! 

 

Really? i don't see how now? that the series is over? the only other one i HOPE we still get is the Movie version of animated Lockdown he looked so purrty in ROTF style

 

Hasbro said they'd find a way. Which, because of the fact that these two have a release date, means Hasbro already has.

... yet you don't question how we're getting these two redecoes and the recent news about the two Activators redecoes?

As for the ROTF styled Lockdown, we are getting him... the ROTF line isn't ending anytime soon... Also, how did you not know that we're getting Rodimus and Arcee when they were shown in the slideshow and talked about at the same time, granted that BotCon '09 wasn't the first time that we've heard that Hasbro will still be releasing the two Animated figures. We've also even seen photos of the actual figures (at least in some sort of finalized stage) on display.

 

I'm guessing hasbro is holding back on the season 3 dvd until these are out.

Hisstank.com did get a tidbit of information from their last hasbro q & a. Saying that the gijoe resolute movie on dvd will be released in the fall or third quarter.

If their making that push into the entertainment section I speculate the Animated dvd is coming as well.

This dvd release is probably the justification they fed retailers to even continue stocking animated toys.

Can't wait to expand the lineup. I want them both. Jazz is a double g1 ricochet/ movie jazz deco!

 

Man, the box art for these two is fantastic. Sometimes I think Marcelo Matere draws Animated better than Derrick Wyatt does.

I'm not going to be one of those people that's all "repaints suck!"
I just wish that the wave was mixed up with a new mold and one repaint.
Although if Soundwave was in his shattered glass colours, I'd buy that

 

I know, right? He makes them look so dynamic and full of life and personality. Not that Derrick doesn't, but these boxart illustrations just make a lot of these toys for me, even when I don't have that much interest in the toys themselves.

Can't wait to see how he does with Blackout and Rodimus...  

 

Not to mention that we'd seen hands on reviews of stolen Chinese toys for Blackout and Thundercracker, which means if the new Voyagers are coming out, surely we'll see the new deluxes too

 

I think they said that they going to try and do the Music Label colors that appeared in the VR world. Which also happen to be his Shattered Glass colors.

We're probably not going to get anymore new molds after Arcee/Rodimus/Blackout/Ratchet/Bumblebee but we might get a few more repaints.

It's utterly disgraceful what they did to poor Electrostatic Soundwave.
He has the potential to be one of the coolest repaints ever :c
But they screwed him over with that boring slate gray body color,
and an ugly accessory.
I wanted to love ratbat, and mold-wise, i do.
But the paint scheme, ugh >_< !
C'mon hasblow!
Experiment with different paint colors until you get something visually stimulating,
Don't just pick colors at random, shrug your shoulders and declare,
"Meh, good enough."

 

How were the color choices random? They went off of what Wyatt and the rest of his team chose for "Soundblaster" in the Human Error episodes.

 

I love RatBat (as the character n all) but I have to say that this new animated RatBat is f###### s###!!! They made RatBat look like a f###### ******ed p####!!!

 

Can't wait to get the Soundwave. Mostly for Ratbat tho..

 

BTW Jazz looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I wonder why they changed that Purple to Lilac on Ratbat. It looks strange. Jazz looks nice though.
