It's just.....I don't even know what to say other than no thank you

 

I'm not digging the combined mode. It looks like one is giving a piggyback ride to the other two.

 

We waited this long to see... what the HELL IS THAT?!

By the way, first we had 3 bikes - purple, pink, and blue. Then, Arcee, the pink one, became red (or at least in toy form). I never understood that. But now in this concept art, Arcee is pink again, but now Elita-1 is GOLD?! Gold instead of purple? What the....? Maybe it's because it's a concept but this is just a mess. We waited so long just to see a jumbled mess of robot parts with a head, some wheels and some guns. No wonder Michael Bay hated them and left the combination out. The person/people that came up with this should be shot (three times in the head, five in the heart, then skewered, and finally, spit-roasted).

 

Doesn't do anything for me. Seeing how it moves might have changed my mind, but to be honest, the individual bikebot designs STILL haven't grown on me. What was wrong with Arcee's TF1 design?

My objections don't stem from a geewunny leaning that "humanoid is better." Devastator was a great design, even though his whole part of the movie was fail.

 

Absolute crap. Awful. Arse. Etc.

I give up with this movie nonsense.

Hasbro, in their usual indirect way, warned us well in advance that this combined form was going to be crap.

That's pretty cool i admit but as a robot I can't really like it as much. It just looks too "junky" or all over the place =\

 

No, it's a terrifying reality, like death and torture. It's my belief he intended to have three cycles with no individual bot modes, just a combined bot mode, like Devs. He was told to make individual bots, but being so far along, made some compromised bot modes by half-way transforming them between combined and vehicle modes. I would have been happy with either of the individual concept art modes, but the combined modes and the bot modes they gave us, are in my opinion, utter garbage!  

 

This should be quoted on every page to keep everyone in perspective.

 

  that's all I can say. This is the epitome of when the movie asthetic goes too far... any one character can often look like a jumbled mess of really tiny parts that leaves you unsure of what you're even looking at. This is... crap.

Don't get me wrong, the concept drawing is fantastic art work, but the idea, whether it was the designers, Hasbro's, Paramount's, or whoever's, is just a jumbled mess. Movie aesthetic FTL.

Give credit where the credit is due: this was Jung's design, that's why it's on his site, uncredited to anyone else.

He's an exceptionally skilled artist, yes, but a lot of his designs have issues. This one is no different, and that's why almost all of the concepts that he came up with were heavily reworked. There's a chance that this is the final concept, but judging from the brief shot we got of her in the comic adaptation and how different his individual bike-bot concept drawings were from the final product, I'd say that there's a better chance that Arcee doesn't look much like this at all.

Although a giant fan of arcee that i am...the combined mode is kinda weird.....I mean her head is on her shoulder....and is that whole mass thing being balance by one wheel...dont think so......glad they did not make the third bike gold (maybe she was flareup or firestar as gold).........I am still glad they showed us what the mode was suppsoe to look liek but would liek to see what designs 1 and 2 looked like

 

I don't even like them separately so it's no surprise that I find this incredibly ugly

 

Again, that might not be what it was supposed to be like at all.

This guy came up with great and awful concepts in equal measure. That Constructicon with the buzzsaw in his chest looks like a wind-up toy.
