North Texas -- Bruticus Maximus in...McKinney? Was out with the wife last night checking out what's new in Halloween stuff and saw a few Brutics Maximus (Maximi?) on an endcap. This is at the Target at 121 and Custer. I always thought it was Allen, or maybe Plano. But I looked it up at Target.com and they list it as "McKinney SW"... [shrugs].... Okay... Anyway, happy huntin'.
I would think Plano or Allen as well but McKinney! [shrugs with Optimus Clyde] Nothing new at WM off Coit and Springcreek.
If anyone out there is still looking for Bruticus Maximus, I know it may be a drive for most of you not over here on the east side of the metroplex, but the Rowlett Super Target on highway 66 had six of him on an end cap today.
Not sure how you guys feel but I am passing on this figure. I really don't like the hands and feet for this or the Superion. Did get the add on kit for Superion and he is much better now. If they do the same for Brut Max then I might get one. Just my two cents.
I tend to agree. I'm not entirely sold. He looks cool enough, but I was disappointed with Superion's hands/feet. I'm still debating the purchase of the replacement parts kit (UGH!)....but I still don't have a Classics Prime trailer, yet. :/
Target off of 183A toll road and 1431 had a fewof long hauls, for anyone interested. There should still be 2 left, I snagged one up
The Fansproject G3 trailer? If so then you should get the trailer in a heartbeat. It is awesome! The hands/feet kit is well worth the money. Makes Superion look WAY better IMO.
I like the FansProject trailer, but I was thinking I'd go with BestToys. It's cheaper and it's not slavishly G1-accurate. I feel like the look says "Classics". But I do still think about the FP version. One thing it has over and above BT is the standing repair bay mode. That would look awesome on display!
As of this afternoon, the Denton Wal-Mart has all the newest legends class figures (Skids, etc...), and a couple of Swerves (no Arcees). They also had one Gears and one Thrust. And I picked up the last Mudflap plate variant. No sign of Long Haul or Grindor.
I seriously need to get a new TF, haven't bought one since Hot Lap hid that Arcee for me. I want to get Bruticus, but then I want that ML Soundwave.
Went by the Target on Westhiemer Parkway as of late this afternoon they had two HA Sideswipes. Other then that that was all they had that was news worthly for you guys.
I completely agree with Megaprime80 the G3 Trailer and Superion add on kit was definately worth my extra cash! Luckily since I am not buying most of the ROTF figures I have the extra cash for these items. If you have the cash to spare, go for it you won't be upset!
went by conroe walmart and target yesterday, suprisingly target had 4 bruticus maximus sets, 2 voyager megatron rotf, 2 mixmasters, 1 long haul, 1 voyager prime, 3 leader megatrons rotf, and a marvel crossover ironman and spidey 2 pack. walmart had 3 HA bumblebees, 3 devastators, 2 leader megatrons, and a truck load of the 1st and 2nd wave deluxe figures which they just can't get rid of, worried i won't ever see the ice cream twins there.
When I picked up Bruticus Maximus last week at the Target in Lewisville on Hebron they had about 10 Superions there with him.
