Ya if we want to cheapen the movies any further than they already have lets bring back the worse character to hit TF fandom in 25 years.

Im putting the fallen way ahead of G1 wheelie when I say that.

The Fallen single handedly add holly wood cheese and melodrama to the movie. Not to mention destroying Megatrons character altogether.

The Multiversal idea is really weak when you consider one fallen would have to leave that dimension to conquer another. Overall the Multiverse idea is just an excuse writing plot device for why they can always bring back characters.

In the famous words ( slightly altered ) of the Jazz bashers.

The Fallen is Dead deal with it!!!

    He doesn't.

He's everywhere at the same time, heck, he's even at other variations of the same universe at the same time.

Plus you guys just hate him because he didn't show up as MEGATRON'S MASTER IN THE G1, just like how you dislike Jolt and everybody else that wasn't in the Ark crash.

Yup its official, you are being an ASS.

For one find one quote about jolt, go for it. I actually like a good number of the new designs but the problem always ends up being the way they are used. Blackout was great until they killed him with a crotch shot that made him go down way to easy.

You just dont like it when someone has reasonable thoughts and puts them down so you are at a lack of words when faced with an intelligent rebuttal.

The multiversal idea holds no ground with me especially for 2 reasons.

1 the idea doesnt work except in fan fic, there is no way you cant kill his physical self in one reality and not have it affect anything. He would have to be many beings in many dimensions to not sustain injury. Just a fact dont let it get in your way.

2.) Do you expect a movie, so plot hole laden, to use that as actual plot device people will understand? Is this movie for the masses or for the fans ??? someone please elaborate cause it seems to shift to which ever answer helps people sleep at night depending on topic. The fallen was a cheap gimmick added to the TF franchise to try and explain all the history in one set of characters and not to mention to give them religion so they could sell it better instead of God less robots from outerspace.

The fallen was a bad idea and your right about one thing. It was stupid to call Megatron the end all be all of bad ass bad guys then replace completely with 0 build up to the new character was horrendous. If the story stays that way get ready for Part 3 when they replace Prime with (place generic chacter here)

All of this is not because it wasnt G1 but because it is not GOOD STORY TELLING. You got to be kidding me how many problems in the story did introducing the fallen bring. like all of a sudden the nemesis is on mars and now megs is just acting under the fallen when he even says a line 2 seconds before that contradicts the fallens existance.

My main issue with the Fallen is its an over simplification of any story line where it was already made to simple to start with the all spark . Atleast with the allspark it could still have a good background and diverse history but instead the fallen brings it to a single point of focus and gives transformers a religion so parents will feel that there kids arent being possessed by satanic robots that mutilate one another.

The movies just get cheaper and cheaper in the story department and you just deflect it as "you are just G1". Well guess what I like G1 but hey if I like other series does that make me Beast Wars lover to or animated lover. Could it be I have standards unlike you which require that if I watch a movie I be entertained solely on the basis of what movie delivers.

Easy, Vektsilver. We don't want to spark angry feelings here. It's just a discussion.

Personally, i'm torn on the idea of whether it would be a good idea to somehow bring back The Fallen in the 3rd movie. I really like the concept of The Fallen and the whole Dynasty of Primes, but like many, i feel ROTF didn't do the best job of presenting them. Half of me thinks that maybe these significant historical TFs should have another chance to be explained more clearly as part of another story, but then another half of me worries that with the way these movies are geared to primarily delivering thrills to the audience, any kind of significant story and plot regarding the TFs would be sidelined.

First, don't blame me (or Bay before you decid to like always), Hasbro said it, like it or not the 13 and Primus are multiversal beings and you'll have to accept every explanation because you're not HASBRO's copywriter, what they say is the truth if you dislike it just stop participating in the fandom and supporting the franchise.

BTW vektsilver you are a geewhunner, you just started acting like you're not one after the insult got popular.

Your post reeks of hyperbole, because you're a angry geewhunner, and that's it, you only like the series that go closest possible to G1, there's members out there that do have valid complains such as Ash and others but you? You can't even hold your mask, you'll go on acting like I HATE THIS MOVIE BECAUSE OF WHEELIE HUMPING AND NO ACTING. but you always end up slipping with SHOULD'VE BEEN G1 comments or IS IT HARD TO RESPECT THE ORIGINAL GRAGR1?. Face it, you are, the last, and true, g1ner.

Just my two cents: Don't bring the fallen back for TF3. Don't bring in Unicron. Mix things up and bring in Liege Maximo, but instead of having a 'bloodline' connection to Megs... give him one to Prime.

That'd be Nova then, unlike The Fallen who is like Optimus's uncle, Nova is in the straight line of descendants from Prima to Optimus.

To bring in the fallen again after he was already dead would be a joke.

I personally think the bad guy in 3 should be nemesis prime.
Another prime decendant, tortured by unicron (or some other random evil force)
and driven to destroy the autobots.
The epicness would make most people explode in the theater.

    And combiners FTMFW!

Good combiners...keep that sack of crap baystator off mah damn screen!

well, i did believe that the fallen left far too early. he should've had at least one spectacular fight scene and killed at least one autobot, just to emphasize his badassery. i understand that optimus's becoming 'jet prime' was supposed to show what being a 'prime' is really all about (ass kicking), but the fight scene at the end was simply not enough.

however, i don't believe the fallen will be returning. while a lot of franchises are going for 4 movies (spiderman, pirates of the caribbean), most movies stop at the 3rd movie. in the event that this is so with transformers, whether hasbro is just not up to it or michael bay is done sick of it, megatron should be the main bad guy in the last movie.

Technically, the Fallen isn't really "dead". Being a multiversal entity, he can travel around every single continuity at will and not be effected at all. When Optimus Prime kills him at the end of the movie, he does in fact die, but he's likely still alive, but now in an alternate Transformers universe. So the Fallen would look back at his experience in the live action universe as a failure and move on to a different universe. Heck, he probably decided to try raising hell in the Animated universe after he got his face plate handed to him by Prime.

I don't buy that the multiversal thing counts for the movie at all. It's stupid. And much as I liked his design and character the Fallen was wasted in this movie and shouldn't come back.

I wouldn't be furious if he came back, I like him...before he got his a$$ handed to him way too easily.

But, for all intents and purposes # 3 should have Megatron be the jerk he was always meant to be:thumb

But it does, Hasbro said it, if he wasn't the same guy the would've said already.

It counts for everything even Universes that we haven't seen yet.
