I'd settled for Masterpeice Starscream with the coronation set than this. the Classics mold doesn't look that good with this set.

 

There seems to be a lot of unjustifiable hate aimed at custom kits lately.

While no one is telling you to like it, I find it both silly and underhanded that you're dismissing this as crap. You could at least be a little more respectful of the work that was put into it, or any upgrade set for that matter.

Personally, I'm going to reserve my judgment of this kit until I see the final painted version. After all, it's a very early prototype.

 

Huge crown is huge. I would not worship him.

 

Agreed. The MP editions are better in proportion. I feel most people will wait until the final product is shown before deciding.

i dont have this figure yet..but this upgrade kit makes me want him more.

But i agree also with the crown being too big. The guns could be a tad smaller too

 

The crown is way too big for the figure and I'm not terribly impressed with the cannons, either. Also, I think $20 is a little much for this (likely due to the low production run, I suppose), when the Masterpiece Coronation set was only $25.

 

I can't tell if that's a crown or a lightning rod.

 

The only reason I hate most of these fan-made kits is because they are stupidly overpriced. I mean $20 for a few cheap pieces of plastic? wtf? it should be like $8-$10 at the most

Many of you have no idea how difficult or how expensive it is to produce these upgrade kits.

 

Wow! Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch...It's an CUSTOM UPGRADE KIT! No one's forcing you all to buy it. If it was a Hasbro release, it's one thing but this is a custom. Jeez. Oh well, If no one's gonna buy this limited release item then I have a better chance of getting it. Will go well with my MP Starscream.

Hmmm I might buy it since I never got the one for my MP Starscream and its cool they did it for the Classic Starscream. And its only 20 bucks? Hmmm not bad at all. Also folks, THIS IS AN EARLY PROTOTYPE!! Remember how FP drastically changed the shoulder missiles for Sideswipe/Red Alert and Mirage? Things do change. Ima order it.

 

It looks good... just don't know if I want it though... on the fence with this one.

but i'd rather have a Seeker cannon upgrade kit instead. Arm cannons for all my seekers so it doesn't force the wings back if they raise their arms because the cannons are so huge.

 

Not crazy over the crown as others have said, but hopefully they make the crown a little smaller for the final release. With that said, I will probably pick it up for nothing more than the arm cannons alone, assuming it colour matches with Henkei Starscream.

 

Ha! That crazy Starscream.

 

Plus, big enough to fit his ego as well.
